I was in Ohio this one time (I survived) and I was in Dayton near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. I was just outside looking at the stars as usual, while out of the corner of my eye, I spotted something.
It looked kinda like that, irregularly space luminous points of light slowly traveling across the sky. I heard no sound. The lights traveled to the northeast across the sky and then suddenly, they went out slowly, like a candle.
You might think "IT'S AN ALIEN SPACECRAFT!!!" Well, I don't know, and you probably don't know either. My most realistic guess is that they are flares, but I'm not sure.
Any ideas?
P.S. I'm serious. This is not an April Fools joke.
odds are you saw the satellite array called Starlink, which is operated by SpaceX

yeah i saw something like that except mine was travelling horizontally across the sky
Starlink, or another similar satellite constellation. We saw them too during a CAP STEM weekend and for Stelar Explorers competition. They’re high enough up and at the right angle to where the Sunlight isn’t stoped by the earth when it might be completely dark on the ground.
@TalonTheCRTguy idk, they're these... weird, fast moving orbs that generate no sound, all of them have the same red glow on it, and even then im still questioning as to whether or not the thing i saw were real or not, i've never told my friends about this since i know they're probably going to think that i was the crazy one (i was at the front gates of my friends house when this happened, i dediced to do the right thing of not shouting there's a ufo or something stupid like that, i instead just observed for awhile before finally getting in to my friend's house without saying a word about it, we greeted eachother, played some games on really old consoles he had, talked for a bit, ate some delicious homemade chicken steak, and after that, i finally went back home to sleep and thought nothing of it, this happened just as the sun is about to set, which... idk why it's oddly specific, and i will probably never know why.)

Thet've been spotted since the late 90s, so I think that's a more advanced version.... It doesnt seem like Starlink Sats since they are more widely spaced
@TalonTheCRTguy i swear i saw 4 weird lights in the sky when i was at a friend's house (my friend's house were pretty close to a nearby military base, it's not a big one though) i still have no idea what it was, but im still not jumping to the conclusion that they're ufo's and whatnot, and i never will.

Well at this point the only top secret UFOs the United States gov'ment is probably using are triangle ones! (Triangle>baguette shape)
