What planes do you like? And why?
P-51, Cadillac of the skies!
P-51H specifically
@AlbertanPlaneMaker alright, I'll tally the results and see which aircraft is most mentioned.
@Sakorsky Yeah.
I just want to know what people like
@AlbertanPlaneMaker what? Like the most mentioned?
@Sakorsky make sure at some point to to tell us which was the most said.
Basically anything that looks like it comes from an anime, like F-15S/MTD and Su-47
No one mentioned this plane?
It's the coolest F-15 ever built, 3D thrust vectoring, canards and an awesome livery, what's not to love?
@MrSilverWolf Cessna 208 fans are chads
-from a cessna 208 fan
Piper Tri Pacer, and Cessna 208, only correct answers and are the answers to all your aviation questions
f14 tomcat. It‘s just the most iconic fighter. and the f35b but its not as good as the f14
J-8II/B
Skill matters
AV-8B Harrier is not the original - it is British and America gave them the licence to build them so that is what they named them.
TU-204: idk why its just nice
Q400: Sleek and efficent, gave canadian aviation its name.
C-130: No explanation needed.
B737: World best selling airliner, very usefull
AN-2: Smol russian boy that can still haul ALOT
DC-3/C47: Its the DC-3
F-15 - Fast, versatile, and effective.
C-130 - Does pretty much everything, and does it well.
An-2 - Very useful and adaptable, plus it keeps the biplane design relevant.
DC-3/C-47 - Looks fantastic, flies great, and useful for many different things.
DHC-2 - Backbone of Canada's bush flying since 1948, also looks great.
DHC-6 - The DHC-2's larger and more modern cousin.
I'll stop there because otherwise I might not stop.
5th gen fan vs Cold War enjoyer
Cold War era jets are just a vibe. I like the whole development battle between US and Soviet designs. A majority of the jets in service nowadays are still from that era or derived from Cold War era designs. (F-15, F-16, Su-27, etc.)
F-22A - Prime 5th gen fighter, kind of old, but still takes top seat of air superiority.
Su-30SM - PSM, is huge, highly maneuverable.
C-130 - Big boi, carries tons of stuff, recognizable, props.
F-15C - Rugged, great survivability, still packs some heat despite airframe age, really long range.
MiG-29/MiG-35 - Excellent dogfighter, looks great.
F-105 - BOMBS
B-2 - You'd think it's a UFO
FW-190 series - Vicious fighter. Those four 20mm autocannons destroy every aircraft they hit.
Spitfire series - Icon of WW2 combat aviation. Agile, reliable, overall greatness guaranteed.
B-17 - A bomber of legendary toughness. Rain thousands of rounds at it and it'll still fly home largely intact.
A6M Zero - Imperial Japanese fighter. Has excellent maneuverability, but it's downside is that the fighter is lightly armored. Icon of Axis pacific airpower
P-47D - The brrt before the brrt (A-10)
Yf-23
Su-47
B-2
Yak-15
I like soviet designed aircrafts, like Su-27 and Su-35
@Sakorsky
F-14 - The complex engineering of the Variable Swept wing design
SR-71 - goes Mach 3 while being stealth
F-35B - VTOL Feature and the looks
BF - 109 The looks
We all know it's the Po-2
@Red920 valid reason.
F-14, SR-71, F-35B, BF-109
reason i like it: I dont know. I just love
the way it looks
@IceCraftGaming i know I'm trying to solve this
