The Ultimate Feature Suggestion Post For Stuff That Will Probably Never Be Added

This is the ultimate feature suggestion post. Why? Because I say so, and I have many complaints that I'm sure you all would LOVE to hear. I totally did not steal this idea from Kangy, but their post reminded me of all the little annoyances in this game. Tell me in the comments if you agree these features should be added, if there's already a janky way to make these things work, and your own suggestions for the game.

  • Cycle setting for rotators. This would save me SOOOOO much time making a walker.
  • Mass XML editing. This would allow you to edit an xml value of many parts at the same time.
  • Like Kangy said: The ability to save blueprints to builds.
  • The kraken on mobile devices that can handle it. And make it a boss fight while you're at it.
  • Multiplayer for mobile. I bet I'll get quite a few comments telling me how difficult it would be for the devs or how if you microwave your phone long enough, the option appears in the menu.
  • MAKE THE OVERLOAD INTERFACE BIGGER FOR MOBILE! WHY IS IT SO SMALL? My finger pushes like 3 of the rows at once when I go to enter a value.
  • The undo button actually undoing one step each time it is pressed. For some reason, it undoes like 3 steps each time I press it.
  • The ability to make parts invisible. We could make so much cool stuff with that.

Note: I'm sure I'm missing a lot of stuff, so I'll write it down when I think of it. I'd love to hear what changes you would want.

    I agree with most of these, But seriously, Mobile multiplayer appears in the menu if you microwave your phone long enough, And you deserve to try it just for asking.

    @SnoWFLakE0s Noted. I just wish there were easier ways to modify parts than funky trees. I'm currently building a walker... Is the code you gave for a cycle rotator? Could you explain how it works? I want the rotator to start moving back and forth when the throttle is activated. I need to be able to control the speed of the rotator and the angles at which the rotator changes direction.

    With all due respect, some of you need to realize any reasonable part behavior is within reach with FT. Just ask around to players that know (hint hint) or do a little experimenting yourself... Default cycling options, especially for pistons, don't function in a manner that is ideal anyway.

    You can adjust the UI size in Overload by pressing the settings button on the top right-hand side of the window when you open it, and adjusting the slider.

    As a walker/mech builder, the cycle settings for rotators would be so helpful, and would honestly cause me less time when making similar builds. Also, I've also thought about your 2nd suggestion, and for me it would be even cooler if we were able to filter the parts we want to edit, for example: we only want to edit the fuselage parts, so the editor would only select those parts.

    I remember hearing that the whole game would have to be like recoded or something for MP to work and was I believe confirmed to not going to be added
    However I massively agree with the undo button, there is not enough words to describe the frustration I’ve had with redoing an hours worth of nudging and fine tuning just from hitting the undo button once as I accidentally dragged a part off the build due to a oversized hit box
    Also the redo button more often than not will make things worse by not actually going to the step you originally started on

    Another thing: you can make invisible parts in the designer, though it’s merely for building only. It just makes the part opaque in the designer.

    Open overload, click the gear icon on the top right to open its settings, increase size

    This is truly the ultimate suggestion forum.
    Mobile SP sucked. Alot. I understand that it is caused by technical issues, but we need these things. Not all people are rich, y'know.
    Also we need IR stuff. I've been asking this for a long time.
