Will Simpleplanes get a revamp or a possible Simpleplanes 2:Electric boogaloo?

I had this on my mind ever since simple rockets 2 has been released. Will Simpleplanes get a revamp? Like implementing the physics of SR2 to SP and SR2's other procedural parts like the landing gear and such or will we get a new Simpleplanes 2 built from the ground up in the future?

I don't see a revamp happening. Implementing SR2's physics and parts into SP would take tremendous effort. However, they haven't abandoned SP so updates may still happen, albeit less often.

Ranting about a future update is a bit difficult for devs of what kind of new introduction for that update

From the fact that we haven’t had an update for quite a while, I think that’s what they might be doing. There’s been a few rumours about it and the devs have asked us about it too.

I made a post about this about a year ago. Since then they've released some important new features that have really opened up new creative possibilities. While I would love to support Jundroo with another purchase, I certainly won't be complaining about the content they release to me for free. And if they're doing well then I guess there's no reason for them to change course.
