Fix has been found, just make who you follow public and you'll get notified
So recently I gained 3 followers and it just put this question back on my mind, what happened to follower notifications?
I used to get them at first but I think it stopped after like 40 and now I'm up to 215, which is pretty far from 40.
I haven't changed any settings and I have always had the option turned on to be notified for everything.
So what happened to this? Do they just stop after 40? And why?
It's not like after that you get 10 followers every day, I don't even get 1 a week.
I want to be notified because it's fun knowing who starts following you.

@Minecraftpoweer probably if you hide following list the follower notifications will not show up

@DickBrazen oh I thought you asked about that. Yea since that is public it means that whenever you get a follower it shows you who started following you if you click the notification thing.
@Minecraftpoweer that shows me who I'm following but not who's following me. Is okay.

@AgentofFortune you talk of a followers list set to private. Do I need a computer to view my followers list?

I still get them after 400 followers, but I dont get the little red ticker for them, they just show up in my notification feed.
@AgentofFortune oof yea that was my newest idea on what it could be.... man I missed out on so much. I Think we should be able to see who follows your own account.
I think I might have figured out what it could be? Maybe it is because I had the thing on who I follow turned on private? So then it doesn't let me see who follows me? Idk

i still get follower notifs
@TheFantasticTyphoon Know it happened within 2 days, more likely within 1-1.5 days and my oldest notification I see right now is 2 days old.

You get notified under the "Notifications" bar, but it doesn't show up as a red "x new".
