So, with the death of SLRP (from what I understand) as a whole after the server was deleted, and me having a few months to handle any of my own issues that partially led into its deletion, I've decided upon creating a sorta-successor to SLRP.
This new one, which I've currently been refering to as "2020RP" will take place in what will be modern times in a few months, and since it'll be based in modern times, modern (and slightly above modern) tech will be expected.
Since it'll be taking place in modern times, anyone who had participated in SLRP can still use their equipment (if it fit's the 2020 timeframe), and probably country depending on if it can be balanced with the new rules I've made.
Regardless, with experience gained from SLRP, I've made sure to have some stricter rules so what happened to SLRP wouldn't happen to this RP again, but still overall remain fun for both new and old RP people who come to the server.
For the most part, the biggest change is mod staff have greater control over what is and isn't considered cannon and issuing of appropriate punishments, as well limits on the scale of country sizes (when joining) and their military depending on the country.
And since this is going to take place in a Discord server, I only ever expect for this RP moving to SP forums is to make either country pages that describe your country, or equipment pages that list everything your country uses. Anything else is not going to be accepted and typically would be considered non-cannon to keep this RP from spamming up the forums.
As of the moment, the server is mostly complete, with a few users having already joined to help test all the channels and the few bots already in, but all thats needed as of the moment are the combat bots and a new moderator staff that's either not been involved in RP before, or doesn't have a bad history in RP.
As of the moment, I predict the server to be finished sometime next week, or the week after this depending on how long it takes for me to gather a moderator staff.
So, if anyone's interested in becoming part of the mod staff, kindly leave some short message in comments or some private post here on SP as to why you'd like to.
Anyways, hope this forum perks interest in people who were burnt from SLRP, and give something forward to look to that isn't SPMRP,

Update: the server has been released
I would like to add If you have no interest participating but have no problem moderating such as myself, then please speak up. We’re aiming to have more unbias mods this time around who are more or less well versed in the combat system so there will (hopefully) be less complaints this time as well as less spamming on the only person who knows how to use the combat system when he has stuff to do.

When I was "AFK" for 1 month in SLRP, because I went to vacation, I passed that time to build a lot of crafts for SLRP, but when I returned, it was gone. If something like this is going to be brought back, I could bring back my projects. That would be epic.

I kinda feel you considering they have such things as dimensional travel and such, hell I made everyone panicked because I flew a Maritime Patrol Aircraft near their border.

I've gotten a few choice members on the preemptive ban list from the server (alongside other unrelated users) who for sure aren't gonna be allowed in server, but most anyone is allowed in as long as they behave and follow the rules.
