@TheUltimatePlaneLover Lol thats because the grass is real! These screenshots are a 3D model taken with a HDRI as a background. A HDRI is like a 360 degree picture of a location, like an image on google maps or a VR image. So I download a HDRI of a field, or of a hangar, import it into Fusion (the 3D modelling software), and voila - I can use it for the 3D model of the aircraft.

Focus on making a good hull. That's the make it or break it for good ships. I normally spend half the entire building time on just the hull. Make it as realistic and good as possible. Ensure the buoyancy is just right to keep the boat afloat while not making the water look like solid ground. I suggest doing the buoyancy at the end, as this will need to change with more weight.
The rest of the stuff is as you wish. Make a detailed superstructure, make sure it has at least one naval cannon (if its military), also CIWS is very good to have, and add a couple of missiles. Countermeasures, when resized and ammo count set to zero, make very good and very easy missile firing pods.
@PlaneFlightX Ok, I'll consider that. Might have to find a place where it doesn't conflict with The Items mod. Are you factoring that in by any chance, including the recent island update for that mod?
@BaconEggs
Yeah ok, I actually have downloaded that, and know some things about Unity already. And yes, I am modelling my own assets. The airport is actually done, but its the touch up stage that is taking so long.
@BaconEggs Ah, makes sense. Would you be willing to give a little advice on my airport mod? I always feel as if something is missing, no matter what I do.
Also, I can never get the right ground textures. Any recommendations? Maybe I can share with you what I have right now and see how you like it.
@TheMouse Yeah I know, I know. It is still plodding on, with a little while yet to go.
To answer your question, I downloaded Google Earth Pro (no, its not a paid pro version. Its just a more complex app for people to use, where you can save out the imagery as well).
In Unity I then had to transform it into a usable texture, for the surrounding terrain.
For the actual airport, though, I took a higher resolution close up shot of only the airport and used AI to increase the resolution (massive improvement there). I imported it into Unity, this time making it into a 2D image that I overlayed onto the corresponding location on the rest of the terrain. That's how you get the higher quality airport surrounded by the lesser quality terrain.
I added some 3D buildings for extra effect, adjusted the height of the terrain, smoothed out some kinks, and here it is. It took several days, maybe just under a week of relaxed work?
@LunarEclipseSP Although this isn't really my focus right now. I'm working on a much more detailed international airport, and its taking up my attention
@ODCRAFT6
The first step to taking good screenshots is knowing all the different components. This guide really helped me: link to guide
Pay attention to the FOV, that is one the most important things in my screenshots.
For me, I also use a extra app called Reshade which enhances the graphics quality in SimplePlanes, real-time in-game. Their website: link to website
There is a tutorial to install for SimplePlanes by one of the users here, so let me know if you are interested. Only available for PC download though, and not as if a mobile device could handle it anyway. Very demanding.
Oh, and your screenshots are done. You can find them here: link to screenshots
I did two styles, because I couldn't decide which was better. I hope you like it!
@hpgbproductions Just the assets folder? Not the full project folder? Isn't there other parts necessary to recreate the mod, like the scripts and other unity data?
@hpgbproductions Someone asked me (for my map mod) to make available the source code, but I have no idea what it actually is or how to get it. Seeing as you have done it here, could you please tell me what I need to do?

The pics are certainly unique, aren't they?
Sure, I can help! Just tag me on the unlisted posts
+1Wonderful!

+1@jamesPLANESii Thanks, although I'm not sure if textures are possible at all. If it is, then I have no idea how to do it.
@Monarchii I'm surprised it's low parts! Very detailed design
+1This is really nice

@Karroc9522 Thanks, and yes, they are all in-game pictures!
@Apollo018362 Yeah, it is a shame. I wish I could.
+1@TheUltimatePlaneLover Thanks!
@PlaneFlightX It is a standalone map... with something extra! It's a secret for now, though ;)
@TheMouse Yeah I know, I know. It is still plodding on, with a little while yet to go.

+1@BaconEggs Amazing update! Can I ask, what is that airport object bible you said in the description? I'm modding an airport as well

@SPsidearm How dare they stick their fingers into our land!!! World War 4!!! (WW3 being the war to retrieve the single machine gun)
@SPsidearm To WAR then!!! Off with their acursed heads!
@Karroc9522 idk
@Podphong3212 Ok, good! The post I used it on is HERE, hope you like it
@SPsidearm We only need a lone soldier's finger on our territory to start a world war
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 @RealMicroZackSP 😉
@RealMicroZackSP Sure!
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 Its our problem, because it just is. We're the MDA, we don't need a reason to go to war!
Of course..... we need more war!

@hpgbproductions I just had a thought, is it essentially just my Unity project folder?
