@Camroncs Thanks a lot! I will fiish this one in some time)
If you say about procedures for flying - i made it that way so it feels more real, kind of enchances experience) Check my other planes) I will soon release final versions of Tu-104 and Convair CV-880. Making a cockpit interior for a Convair now
Cities Skylines kinda left me disappointed. Dunno why, it seems like a descent game, but still lacks something important in gameplay. It should be better, both by graphics and details in gameplay, but older simsity was more pleasant to play...
@ShatSlanger @ChiChiWerx
Thanks a lot! It pretty much is soviet style, i think its due to soviet cockpit from tu-134, i had not changed it yet) May be i'll leave it more or less the way it is, just to show commonality with my other creations) Anyway, in the design, i wanted to blend tu-144 with su-27
It is great! And i like that you've made landing gear doors like me. Just one recomendation - may be you make flaps and ailerons like i do - with two wing panels so the wing has a realistic sharp trailing edge instead of rounded?
@Dimkal it was a great looking plane. a pitty the project never took off due to american lobby of f-111, which turnet out to be inferior and even more expensive...
Quite lovely. I think i can make some cosmetic inprovements if you dont mind. Its only a problem that its much smaller than it should be. Dont mind if i change proportions a bit and scale it up before you finish?
@asteroidbook345 yes, no problem. It is an often problem with roll... when some part sticks into another somewhere in a wing - it changes wing flexibility and make a plane roll... i usually delete one part of a wing after another and look for when it stops rolling. than try to swap a part of a wing frome some older working save
@ChiChiWerx hm... so far i didnt see such thing. Although i have some troubles with convair on crosswing landings, it veers violently into the wind after touchdown, but i suspect this is of different origin. Can i see a patient?) On which speed it happens?
@Solarisaircraft well, thats why its v0.9... actually nose and cockpit windows are quite similiar in shape on those planes, but i still need to delete upper windows, make the rear lower ones wider and add a cockpit interior
@ChiChiWerx oh, and i forgot:
1) two rotators are connected to each other: fuselage, powered connector, free spin connector, door
2) there is a third 90* free spin one in parallel - fuselage - rotator- door. It limits the closed position so the door cant go up in fuselage
@ChiChiWerx there is actually one rotator with 180 degree free spin and a 270 degrees powered one. The door opens because it has springs on the bulkhead when a powered rotator goes "open" first. But than the door stops at 90 degrees due to springs length, but the rotator still moves using that 180* free spin. Due to that, when you retract gear, the rotattor have to first move throuth that free spin area, and only than a doors starts closing with delay that allows the gear to retract first. So far its the only way i found how to make such doors. You can send me a plane you need to fix
@243687034 Thsanks a lot! Actually i will probably upload a better version of this one with gyros and awesome thrust reverses animation soon. Its more or less ready, but i still have to finish cockpit windows at least, and i always wanted to make cockpit interior like REW did with 737, but it adds a lot of work... And i kind of getting bored unfortunately, feel lasy do finish some, there is too much of boring work to fine tune everything
@REW - this plane has a usual glitch for heavy planes - wheels jumpind and skidding while on the ground - it is cured by decreasing traction and not using autotraction. I've made such an adjustment for your plane: http://www.simpleplanes.com/a/EJOE9Y/Boeing737-800
@MrSilverWolf no problem, i have suggested other players use them somewhere in comments. Write me if smth doesnt work. And note - there are two doors in front that move the same speed as gears themself, and 2 sets of doors in the rear, that move opposite direction, each time you close or open gear, you see one pair going down, while the other goes up into fuselage. Take a look on this one, gear doors work the same, but you can see more clear how it works:
@AndrewGarrison @ColonelStriker thanks!
About the intake - if it is straight throug, it would be possible to make a pipe with needed shape from 2-3 pipe shaped intake blocks. And simply attach it to a normal fuselage - it will be the rear wall, just like in current intake block looks
can you please also make intake blocks straight through, without rear wall? it will make possible to make longer and more realistic shaped intakes...
And make it possible to add a delay timer on rotattors, separate for movement each side. That is necessary to make realistic landing gear doors that will close after the gear, but will open instantly.
@AdrianFlyingAce Well, An-124 is 10-15 years younder, received brand new in 1980s d-18 high-bypass turbofans right away, and if you compare the latest C-5 with the an-124 - there is not much real difference, lates c-5 can take just a little less cargo than a ruslan. i think it smth like 138 tonn vs 150 tonn, not that much of a difference. And An-225 is an outstanding plane, but its MUCH bigger. And its just an AN-124 with a new bigger mid-wing section (new tail is just to carry a cargo above fuselage, it would have worked ok with a normal an-124 tail), it is totally possible to make a 6 engine c-5 with justt the same specs as an-225, but it's just not worth it economically.
@grantflys it may be glitching because i forgot to delete roll and pitch input...
There was a mod indeed. It disappeared...
@Camroncs Thanks a lot! I will fiish this one in some time)

how does an attitude indicator works?...
@Awsomur i think you should try. The game is actually quite promising, may be you'll like it more.
Cities Skylines kinda left me disappointed. Dunno why, it seems like a descent game, but still lacks something important in gameplay. It should be better, both by graphics and details in gameplay, but older simsity was more pleasant to play...
may be i'm just an oldfag...
@ShatSlanger @ChiChiWerx

Thank you so much for an "Activate1" input in pistons) It solved freking numerous problems in my creations...
@Blue0Bull may be i will one day, will be interesting to compare. Kind of getting no pleasure in playing right now...
cockpit is too big for such a huge plane) Pilots would have front windows like 2m high)
It is great! And i like that you've made landing gear doors like me. Just one recomendation - may be you make flaps and ailerons like i do - with two wing panels so the wing has a realistic sharp trailing edge instead of rounded?

Former TSR2?)
Hm. You've made a leadin edge single piece? Wings are flexible, it woul bend out of shape probably...
And one more thing, tu-104 cabin is a closer match, i can swap it
Quite lovely. I think i can make some cosmetic inprovements if you dont mind. Its only a problem that its much smaller than it should be. Dont mind if i change proportions a bit and scale it up before you finish?
@asteroidbook345 can i take a look before you release? Im quite curious
@asteroidbook345 yes, no problem. tail is too short
Looks extremely promising!
Аt last) is it possible to get a glass block size adjustable like fuselage?
looks great!
I like the springsharp info! I feel like i have to make a ship myself)
@ChiChiWerx ok! Interesting project) you can do a range than, su-9, su-17, with triangle, swept and variable sweep wings)
@ChiChiWerx hm... so far i didnt see such thing. Although i have some troubles with convair on crosswing landings, it veers violently into the wind after touchdown, but i suspect this is of different origin. Can i see a patient?) On which speed it happens?
can you send it to me? i can take a look.

@Franticmatty no problem) BTW, was in france a maonth ago) My mothers friends bought a 18 century villa in Ancy le Franc and made a hotel there)
@ChiChiWerx oh, and i forgot:
1) two rotators are connected to each other: fuselage, powered connector, free spin connector, door
2) there is a third 90* free spin one in parallel - fuselage - rotator- door. It limits the closed position so the door cant go up in fuselage
@Franticmatty Reuploded plane i ve sent you some time ago and deleted, had to correct some crude mistakes

@243687034 well, im working on the update for Myasichev and on tu-95 ) unfortunately, i'm stuck trying to find out why it pulls to the left a bit...

@REW You are amasing. This plane is unbeatable. I quit ;)
@Franticmatty
May be this one wont be so bad in MP) but only on your own risk))
Great! I think just the engines are slightly oversised, plus i suggest you take the gear doors from my cv-880, it will be amasingly cool
This is just good!
You're on the right road to realism, comrade!
@AndrewGarrison @ColonelStriker thanks!

WOW! Some of things i wanted ingame are already here) The only thing left is a real aerodynamic calculations (blade physics like in X-Plane)
@Kevinairlines sorry, didnt get whst to see, but im interested)))
@Sunnyskies exactly) but when the planes are so similiar, there will always be forum warriors fighting over which is best)
@Sunnyskies Trim slider would be useful) Great jop othervise
p.s. you can XML edit rotators that control flaps and spoilers so they only turn down or up

Very nice! Can i suggest you to use wings and main gear from my cv880? They are similar in from, but slightly more realistic. I can help fit them
