the ai yaws left and right when shooting, why? I really dont know but i assume its because the ai has such horrible aim that they just programmed it to try to shoot everywhere and hope it hits something.
i don't think there's a way to disable it, but you can make the rudder smaller on the build and that will make the plane yaw less
if you click the little dropdown box a little under the download button it'll show you a bunch of things you can do, such as editing the post, removing it, highlighting it, but what you want to do is click the 'Update XML' option. XML is just the file type that the game uses for the builds in this game (when you hit the blue download button on a post, you're downloading that .xml file)
after you clicked that it'll send you to another page that will prompt you for the an xml file. you're going to have to find the .xml file of your build which, if you're using steam on pc the path should look like:
Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns
once you selected it just click upload and just like that you updated it
i really need to get to making mod racetracks so people actually have something to drive on because i am not counting the silly nordschliefe or the undrivable daytona mod
(ill drive the car in a few hours)
I would also like to add that the elliptical grip model mod creates much more realistic tire traction behaviour, semi-realistic drifting is possible and different drivetrain setups truly affect driving models. ABS becomes much more prevalent with this mod because this mod actually has a case for wheel lock up and introduces the need for more complicated power, steering, and brake systems
@Sm10684 abs is possible if you set the brake force to 0 and set an engine part to every wheel (even if the car is only 2wd). for example let's have a rwd chassis; the brakes for the front wheels will be simpler because we do not have to deal with engine power (it simplifies the ft). so for each front wheel assign an engine part to it, then using the engine part, we can create the brake force. it will take a bit of messing around with ft to get it to work like and actual brake and not an engine, but now that that is figured out, we can use the forward slipping variable now available on the wheel part to create an ABS system or really any kind of brake behaviour, even differential braking and brake fade.
THEORETICALLY !!!!! (i hafent testid it yet but thats how i would do it)
if you still have the xml files of your builds (which you should) you can still post those somewhere and someone with a working simpleplanes can download the xml file and use it themselves
i really wish they added some kind of report feature so the moderators could easily access and deal with these issues without having to make a forum post to pester them about it, too bad we dont have such a thing though.
