@jamesPLANEScdxxLXIX having your plane in the center doesn't always mean you're breaking the rule of thirds, because this rule can apply for parts of the plane, like putting the tail on one point, and the cockpit on another. Because even if you want your plane to be in the center of an image, you should put it in the good orientation an place so the important parts of it will fill the points of the rule of thirds.
@IICXLVIICDLXXXIIIDCXLVII @JeskoGoesVROOM think of it like that : if you respect the rule of thirds, you have space for a text, like the name of your build, and you will be able to put it on one of the other three left points of the rule of thirds. It's a really basic rule, but if you don't have an artistic eye, you won't understand it.
Also, when you have your plane in the center, doesn't always mean you don't use the rule of thirds, because this rule can apply for like parts of the plane, like putting the tail on one point, and the cockpit on another.
@ShikanoinHeizou @Ren You can take follow this guide even if you are on mobile, even if you don't have mods or reshade, basic composition and lightning still is usefull...
@IICXLVIICDLXXXIIIDCXLVII well not really because the max input still is the same, it just replicates the fact that in real life a pilot would pull the trigger fully without smoothing the movement, it would cause the plane to stall or do a cobra-ish thing. I will try your input tho, see what's the better because talky talky is good but if you're right well you're right.
@IICXLVIICDLXXXIIIDCXLVII and looking at your account, you still have a lot to learn (I'm not being mean here, just saying that you can still improve your skills).
I will do that now, will take me some time but should be pretty good once finished.
Hope people will use it as a reference.
@IICXLVIICDLXXXIIIDCXLVII There's another reason to keep your plane far from the islands, it's because they are ugly as hell, you don't want them in your image.
Also, taking screenshots or doing photography is the same thing, so the same rules apply. I might do a forum post explaining how to make cool screenshots.
-
For now, you can both of you look at my screenshots, because they aren't too bad, look at the one MisterT makes too, he's really good.
-
But for the basics, learn basic composition, light position and background gestion. If you can have that, you will already make some good screenshots.
-
(and of course if the plane is just bad looking you can be as good as a god you're plane will always be ugly)
@LeaveUsAlone that's because you're still a bronze player, you actually can't see all the new things and awesome features that this craft have in it. You don't know the funky trees, the text labels mastering, the part and performance efficiency, the mechanisms created for the first time only for that plane. Being good isn't posting a lot of meh stuff, but being capable of always improving with new stuff even tho it was already awesome.
@LeaveUsAlone yeah, because they can't improve their how builds, but next to that this guy make awesome videos, builds, screenshots, funky tree stuffs and all
hello mate, I've already posted a rebuild of one of my old planes to make it up to date with the 1.11. I posted it not so long ago at all and I was wondering if it could enter the challenge ? (if I make it a sucessor of your challenge) The challenge is trully intersting and my build for the same number of parts in both versions is completly something new thanks to the update.
would love to compet here.
@WinsWings oh don't worry I really do understand what you said, and it's cool that it can help you. Part efficiency is the true hard part in simpleplanes, and learning it like you do it by making low parts build is very great !
you can't stay on top forever lol
+1very nice build, you are one of the few players that are good builders for me, and you showed it again, gg
+1@Karzigg please don't ruin this comment section, if you have something to say go in my dm on discord. Sorry ALRX for that.
