this aircraft is giving me a serious headache, even if my aicraft are capable of dodging the first salvo of missiles, such a spam of missiles ends up killing my aircraft... will have to go out of my conventional ways to beat it.
maybe one day, tho flight school is very expensive, wether it's the air force or civilian pilot. I know for sure that if I want something, I can do it, but money is the problem...
I read somewhere on youtube that you can take a trial flight in your local airport if it's allowed, so an instructor teaches you in flight and stuff.
regarding high part creations... I like to push the limits of my creativity, and my pc's limits. Sure, SP is incredibly un-optimized for the resources it uses, it barely uses 30% of CPU power out of a 3rd gen I7 and barely uses more than 2GB of VRAM, but somehow, it is very CPU intensive, it likes high core count over frequency. a lot of high part count tings come from detailed parts like speedometers or things like decals, since we don't have a paintob feature or importing a .png so we can save parts. sometimes I have to duplicate the parts of an entire plane ust to have it in a two-tone paintscheme, imagine the part saving with just some .png images thrown here and there.
build... maybe a week or two + an entire week of testing. +1000 can take me an entire year if it's historical stuff, because it's extremely hard to find certain blueprints or info whatsoever.
@edensk exactly. Also, small update, I think the lag come from Cache memory and the BUS speed itself, because the game starts to lag after 2 hours of continuous gameplay, no matter if it's a 50 part build or a 1400 part build. Very noticeable when using overload, it can take several seconds to load a simple menu. For low part count build, just restart the game and problem solved for some hours, but on larger builds, there's no fix...
that's kinda strange, I used a triple controller setup on both WT and SP when my flight stick still worked, could use the controllers at the same time without issue (back in 2017). setup was steering wheel + flght stick + random PS2 gamepad for extra functions.
@QuitePossiblyMangled thank you! Also, I encourage you to participate, if you notice, I'm way over the part limit, so I don't think I'll win by any chance xd. Do your best!
@NotSoNormalPioneer question is... how do I use the individual part ID for that input... for general purpose I can use the cockpit and have some sort of height difference/time
please change the subect from "it is your job to design a 2nd generation early jet fighter" to "build a replica of a 2nd generation jet fighter", since the first implies that you can submit your own designs.
@RuvienRuvienTheCitizen I like Me 262's and I'm an absolute madlad when flying them, and even if it doesn't fly that well, it has the correct fuselage shape, very few users have been able to replicate properly the fuselage of the Me 262.
@RuvienRuvienTheCitizen I've been looking for a well made 262 airframe for a while, since I'm conducting test on engines of the era (BMW 018 and possibly the Jumo 004 with afterburner). I just need the frame, I can adjust the flight model to the real data :3
can the code also be linked to the blinking for the radar's enemy location? so in time of the sweep, the light turns on for a second, then off and on again with the next sweep.
Note: after a bunch of investigation, I think I'll be using your config for this radar, the Neptun's 3 dial display is a bit confusing and too bulky to use...
@PapaKernels you'll get used to it, I drive an Automatic Mercedes Benz 260E, yet, I had to relearn how to drive a manual in under an hour because we bought a Suzuki Maruti and I had to drive it 100km straight on the way back to my city. so far, I still have some trouble with hills, but just apply handbrake before you start so you can release the clutch in a safe way without going backwards. Good luck mate!
don't think I'll be participating here, but a small tip: for those using wheels for suspension, make sure to have a tank under 45 tons, otherwise, your wheels will wobble a lot and the tank will be difficult to handle.
1) Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione 2003
2) I can't really decide, but Japanese and German brands. I still have to try a lot of brands yet to decide.
3) Mercedes Benz 190E with swapped M104 and 4Matic. Basically a Supra killer and Group B wannabe.
4) I'd say the Unimog, very versatile in all kinds of terrain.
5) Renault clio. I rebuilt the entire engine(K4M 1.6 16v) following the instructions and with the special tools and still got the distribution wrongly placed... Who on earth designed that engine!!!
I could enter, but not sure if my Drachen may be able to meet the rules, as the cockpit alone is currently +860 parts and it's not even finished, also it's a twin seater, so more gauges to put. but I'll see if I can come up with something.

@Airsupremacy01 was thinkg on doing it based on weapon groups, tho I need to remake the code, as the previous one didn't behave as I wanted...
manual transmission allowed... time to get creative with FT hehehe
@Fox00One thank you for the upvote! I hope you enjoy the aircraft!
last year December, but purely because of delivery work, otherwise... can't even recall the last time, but probs 2019
@TheCommentReader they are slow to take off, mainly because of the poor stall speed and because of the engines.
it looks really cool, I'm hyped to fly it in-game

@UltraLight it's a cute face, like a cat face
@UltraLight np! nwn
@UltraLight Nice!
@UltraLight thank you!
is there a limit to how many parts does the model have?
@greasytortle this is the official version :3
@mikoyanster @Dimitrilqbal91 @GRANDAYE thank you very much!

@Aeromotive I still have my plane that I designed for that race, although... it loves to stall xd

Nier Automata Desert ruins?! O.O
@FrostPneuma there's a Tag called "Painted" for this kind of build

@RuvienRuvienTheCitizen will take months, just in case

AH↓HA↑HA↑HA↑HA↑
now we need a 2B android and we can play Nier Automata on Simpleplanes lol
@AWESOMENESS360 I was thinking more of a flak cannon, but with 0 damage, not sure if that's possible tho...
