@Grroro Um no that's not what I'm talking about. I have no problems with using calculus to make equations. That's totally fine.
What I'm talking about is the fact that there's no tutorials on how to fit the code together in- game (for example, the funky trees guide should be easily accessible as an in-game explanation from the devs), and there's the fact that if you want to make a long, complex equation, it all has to be done on one single line, which causes nightmares when it comes to sorting out syntax. There are also no tutorials on how to make basic, commonly used codes like custom inputs or free spinning rotators, and the devs make no explanations on how to use new features in the game other than "we added it" when an update comes out.
And look at the tutorials. The building tutorial doesn't even touch on fuselage blocks or cockpits, there's no tutorial that even mentions that funky trees are a thing, and there's no explanation of how to use variables or what anything means or how they work.
There is a LOT the devs can do.
@Phoebe Damn that is actually genuinely good. That can be referred to ourselves, others, and society. Those are some truely wise words. I will remember that one :D
Tracks 2 = yes plz
Ocean mod = Hell yeah! But something more modular since the current version is rather unrefined.
Kaboom = eh imo not really that important.
Limitless spin = nah that's obsolete now with funky trees.
Underwater camera = YES
Kumamatanga Archipelago = It's a pretty good map but it's too large for most devices. It only just runs on my old computer, which can run 5000 parts. I'd prefer maybe something more finessed too.
@Bellcat Yeah they take on only the best builders who also have good relations with the main people who hang out in the group I'm pretty sure the bronze user who they're mentioning is either a moderator or is a good builder. Anyway, they are elitist, I'm not being sarcastic.
Props have an insane amount of rotational inertia.
It takes at least 5 seconds for propellers to spool up to RPM, regardless of the chord, prop diameter, or number of blades a prop has, and no amount of extra power is able to change this.
It's silly seeing a propeller take longer to spool up to 2700 RPM than a car with the same amount of horsepower get to 100 kph. Props in this game take so long to speed up, they're actually dangerous when trying to go around.
Not to mention the multiple other bugs and shortcomings with propeller engines.
We seriously need new propeller engines in SP...
This is a cool looking plane! Although does not feature any design characteristics of a German aircraft. Maybe American, or with a stretch British, but not German. Especially not a Messerschmitt...
@RaendyLeBeau Thanks!
@V Moby Testicles
+17@RaendyLeBeau Thanks!
Ooer... less than optimal technique to make the fuselage cross section. The cheeks and roof really stand out :/
My first flight sim!
Sweet! I think the normal wheels suit the DC-3 significantly better though. Better rim size and shape.
+4Dang, I don't know where I'd be without this guide...
+1You're a legend for making this m8!
I see
I can't wait for the day my account turns 13... so it can have its own account :D
+5Aw snap, my prowess at the points game is collapsing
+4@Scriefers says, 9 months later ;) @Topgun757
Oh cool, they've changed it so the oldest people are at the back instead of the newest now. Interesting!
@Korzalerke AAAAAAAA NOOOOOOOOO
+50-0
+7@BeastHunter I believe this is pre-1.0
+5Can't curate this just now, but hey nice plane!

+1Seeing you gives me flashbacks to the good old days here :)
+1n word pass activated
+3Make sure they're only connected via the rotator, and the sure the rotator is connected by the correct connections

@Acecombattttttttttttt7 Thanks!
Hey don't give up! Just try again! :)
+1@FRIGGLES sum(input * speed), for example, sum(Throttle * 2)
+4@Korzalerke No he's saying make a comprehensive guide in the game I'm pretty sure. For tutorials.

Oops, I think your Internet did a poo and uploaded this 3 times lol
Woah dayumn
+3The answer to every "should I do this" question on social media is yes, and I say, hell yeah!

+3@PlaneFlightX (below)
+1So what I'd type for the input will be (for a boost pump button)
+1BoostPump customInput = 1...?@PlaneFlightX Where is this custom input thing? Could you show me a picture?
+1Bug: After reloading the level a couple of times, adding new debug expressions causes no output to show up.

@SheriffHackdogMCPE Not necessarily "pros" but those deemed "worthy". It's an elitist community.

+32014 called, they want their meme back lol
+15@InternationalAircraftCompany Well what's your take? Cause that's basically what you've told me...
8 years ago lol @Korzalerke
@Korzalerke I played SimpleRockets before SimplePlanes came out :D
+1This has 145 upvotes :0
@InternationalAircraftCompany So literally anything chinese media is oppressive propaganda? Do you know how dumb that sounds?
+3@CarrotSlicingCompanyCat Really? I can't see myself there

+1With that cockpit, this also has the vibe if the very original twin prop
