One of the best planes I've downloaded. It can get really fast, maneuvrability is excellent.
Most importantly though I think, the plane "feels" good to handle. Not exactly in how the performance is excellent, but with all the other details it has. I don't think, for example, that I've used a plane in this game that actually had the varying amounts of health for each part. Made the WW2 dogfight with the two Mustangs kinda hard, but it was really fun. Plus the guns! I appreciate it so much that you just had different machine guns with different damage, from what I can tell, instead of splitting it in MG and "cannon" armament, which often I've noticed doesn't work that well in fights, either because using both is tricky, especially from a phone, or because cannons are just weird against aircraft in this game, I don't know why. Along with that, the flutter of the control surfaces and the wings, once again adds to the feel of the whole plane, along with the fact that the actual wing control surfaces are visible and aren't just shoved into a fuselage that looks like a wing, it gives it a more "normal" compared to others. The detail on the cockpit was also nice, along with the actually relatively useful gunsight.
And to top it all off it doesn't doesn't hinder my phone in the slightest, very mobile friendly.
The Porco Rosso S.21 does share many features with the M.33, like the engine pull configuration and the cockpit placement, but it still differs in a lot of ways, like having a longer nose whose shape looks closer to the irl SIAI S.21 that it shares a name with. I think it is a mix of the two planes with some imaginary elements mixed in, then shares a name with the SIAI S.21, the company building that later being known as Savoia-Marchetti
Just as I was thinking about rewatching the movie. Excellent as always, the glider works extremely well. If you do add stuff inside the cabins, there better be food in the kitchen.
Yeah, I dropped by to just say I defeated a Wasp in a dogfight with this thing completely unmodified. No more is needed to be said about its performance in combat.
I think calling it and the other two planes you made beautiful would be not making them justice. Have you thought about making a smaller in size replica, but with the same little features in the cockpit and so on?
HOLY CHRIST THANK YOU WHY DOES NOBODY MENTION THE PIRATES' PLANES-
Ahem, good job. It definitely started as a Dornier passenger seaplane, there's even a drawing of it in The Art Of Porco Rosso, I have the book!

Seriously, you did an amazing job, keep it up.

+1You should make the B-29 version of this.

+1Update, you can definitely destroy the Beast and its escorts with it.
But you're gonna look like the Dabohaze in the film, post Savoia S.21 encounter afterwards.
The most exciting plane I've flown in a while. I can only imagine what it would be like in multiplayer
