the tape comes from SS/L. some guy named "moldfucker420" apparently contacted fred for the original digitized video and he found out that the tape also contained the globalstar launch footage uploaded separately. also janett ship has since left intelsat and works for a different company. saying this from a guy who's been investigating this thing for about a year and has found some more footage of it over the time

@Bigolfishboy that video exists as sort of a documentation of the event, most likely for archival purposes. fred, from what i've read, works or had worked at SS/L and thats how he acquired the tape. and yes, i'll consider checking out this community
