floats?
one thing you can do is lower the suspension strength on each wheels, or if you did enable the suspensions on the wheels
and if you downscale the entire build and rework the tracks that's also downscaled, thats the problem
the wheel seem to be "floating" because of that, though i dont know how to explain it why
.
to fix that, you need to remove the wheels and add new ones
@Kendog84 it seems like this cannon part is rather, rigged, in some way
"Explosive" projectile type do have a higher maximum value than the "Basic" ones, and i guess the tolerable value for it to be used against other builds is lower than 1 ? or pretty much that
i tested some, and i used fuselage blocks with 1E+38 health, which i believe is the highest possible value, can withstand normal tank calibre guns (75, 76, 85, etc.) with explosionScaler to about 0.35 and below, and anything above that, well it just kind of explodes the whole build
I also found out that using "Basic" projectile type and setting the "impactDamageScaler" to the highest value possible (1E+38), its kind of very overpowered (if hits enemy fuselage, it kind of just "disappeared" after being hit), even without explosion blast
@Rb2h late reply, but actually the cannon's explosion scale varies by some factors, one that i found is gun calibre size affects the explosion scale of the gun
.
i also found out that "Basic" projectile type explosion scale has a maximum value of 1, exceeding that only gives no changes on the explosion scale, afaik
@keiyronelleavgeek566 your welcome, some say dont scale the wheels because it actually gonna make the build "float", but by using the built in suspension on the wheels, it cancels out the floating behaviour
.
another thing to note, if you connect the wheel to an engine, open XML and find "maxAngularVelocity", editing the value on this can limit the speed of your build, some sort of like that
i recommend setting the value to around 30-45, if you think its too fast, decrease the value
.
pretty neat, and remember, do this on the first wheel, and then just dupicate them, yeah i know you know how to do this
the tracks looks good enough, but i recommend scale the length of the wheels to about 2, and enable suspension
that way it would looks like a continuous track more than just a bunch of wheels stuck together
.
just put suspension strength to around 30-20 and damper above 80-100
idk just mess around with the suspension until you find one that suits
.
just be careful it could get tedious when you want to make a change on one wheel, cuz you have to change ALL of them
@PlaneFlightX YOO that's sick bro 🔥
but like, with wings thats about 2k part count, and engines each with about 2k parts also, not to mention you still got the fuselages, and the interior details and also the exterior
the part counts might not be a concern for some people, but the performance cost like, damn
now i see why you used custom mods to cut the part count
@Carsonkiddy2 its the shock in the barrel that caused the problem, its for recoil absorption
just avoid hitting any obstacle head on with turret facing forward
@Erionh first, you gotta find an image hosting website
.
i recommend PostImages as i personally use one, just upload your pic and copy the link
.
or if you use other image hosting web, just follow the same instruction, then use this format:

put this format in the description box when you're making your forum, make sure your image link is in the "( )" and not "[ ]"
@Zero0Two2 no problem 👍

@keiyronelleavgeek566 any artillery can be a tank destroyer if you try hard enough
kind of look like the c-123 fr
+1@LunarEclipseSP fr
+1@Zero0Two2 please do, im too lazy to fix it myself though
+1@keiyronelleavgeek566 it doubles as a tank destroyer
hell yeah, you made the
420mm long boi

@EasternPatrick laziness at its finest
+1🦵-3

heightened m113
+1ok then im slapping this on my tank, much more fitting
@THEBASEMENTGUY well im not planning for any 1st gen jets yet, so i guess im taking this as a suggestion
@DJRianGamerTheHololiveFan BRITISH AIRWAYS MENTIONED
+1ah, the 4 second autoloader tank
@hpgbproductions interesting, it seems like its not really constant,as what i originally thought
@JBPAviation gawk gawk gawk gawk gawk gawk 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟

not enough sunlight glare i can almost see the plane
j pop all the way through, it motivates me
+1@PlaneFlightX what. 😳
thats crazy, does it includes the full interior of the engine, like its inner workings, right?
@PlaneFlightX now that you mentioned it.. how many part count is one engine
like no mods at all
what the heck
+22,000 parts
just for a pair of wings
whoa, nice T-90
@GLEKO you just land em like its nothing
i mean, its literally nothing
@MonsNotTheMonster nah I'd say we are still pretty fresh, its only been 2 years
+1wow, 50 participants in 2 weeks
@LunarEclipseSP @SILVERPANZER ay thanks guys
+1lol, now i feel weird for actually accepting that request, really
+1idk what you gon need with these points but ok
@AndiTontrando thank you, i will look forward into it
+1that's the cleanest leopard hull and turret ive ever seen ✨
+1@AndiTontrando your welcome, and if you didnt mind, can you make the OS2U kingfisher?
+1Its been a while since i saw this plane in this site, looks very nice
+1@LunarEclipseSP yeah, or even further down i guess, maybe 2nd gen or 3rd gen
+1this looks sick!!
+1i love the details, and for only about 200 part count, i say this is a win!
@LunarEclipseSP @Erionh @Rob119 alrighty, i guess i will be making fighter jet
+1@MsMuseumJanitor yeah, i can tell its hard to make one
+1the fuselage literally have two seperate fuselage blocks
@Carsonkiddy2 its the shock in the barrel that caused the problem, its for recoil absorption
just avoid hitting any obstacle head on with turret facing forward
@Erionh ay good job
@Erionh what image hosting web did you use
damn, so many good looking ducks people have built, really
+1@Erionh which one you mean "doesn't work"?
hold up, it looks like the holy 380mm Rakete
wait, IT IS
