@Randomplayer see the nooks and crannies in the front of the pane? ssao makes them somewhat more defined and darker as compared to parts directly facing the environment
@sleevesixtys60 u need to change a variable in the cannon. select the cannon, open overload, then go to cannon and see if fuseInput variable is there, if it isnt then add it. then for value write this:
@TateNT34 by default, holding right control allow you to rotate and pan without grabbing a part. bonus tip is that holding right shift makes your camera movement slow for precise movement.
@sleevesixtys60 might i suggest not going for auto aim? since most auto aim code is highly personalized written by people with expertise. copy and pasting may not yield correct results. instead you could easily make a camera aimed gun.
@sleevesixtys60 from what i can see, you have two motors, one for each side and so, you need to just put the auto aim code in both of them. if one of them rotates in the wrong direction i.e goes up when supposed to go down, then just go to the settings of the motor and set invert to whatever the next option is. (yes->no OR no -> yes)
@sleevesixtys60 yes there is code for that too that youll have to put in the input section of your rotators.

this craft is where i got the fuse from. there is also auto aim in there
you need to click on the button that says "All", it changes into primary, click again it changes into trim 1, then 2, then 3. sections of parts are divided in these very selections. for your bomb, choose primary for the bomb body, then i think trim 1 for making the nose yellow.
also tweak the metallic and smoothness sliders to ensure you get the color you want
@Solent unholy combination using arrow keys to fly imo. i use wsad, num pad 7 and 1 for trim up and down, with num pad 4 set as reset. num pad 8 and 2 are set to vtol. with numpad + set as max throttle and numpad - set as zero throttle.
no vertical stabilizer air crafts (atleast what ive seen) are quite unstable. a nice trick is to put a a vertical stabilizer anyways, and then use overload to scale it down to a damn near invisible amount.
and as for curves, you should learn the fuselage block and manipulate it effectively.
take inspiration from other builds and irl aircrafts and then later build your own.
place the attitude ball in front and center so its always in view, then place stuff relative to it with important stuff coming first then the quality of life stuff. switches are placed either next to their respective gauges or in a full on panel like arrangement. throttle on the left. thats about it
you should know that the forums are a great way to learn and ask questions. almost everything i learnt is from forums. and tinker around as there is no better teacher than figuring out stuff yourself.

+2rip. may God add to your patience.

(TargetSelected ? TargetDistance / (3000 - rate(TargetDistance)) : 60)
thats it
+1i couldnt get to play it. but seeing all the creators, its a monumental improvement. absolutely cannot wait for it to come out.
+1its in meters per second.

also, pls tell if you want to make the turret controlled by camera because i think thats what you mean with anti air gun.

IMPORTANT: Ag 1 enables the auto thing. i forgor.

would you be willing to build an f22 please? i get it if you dont

@Pleco123 probably yeah. we should see many build challenges and tournaments in sp2. in the meantime why not u host one?
@Pleco123 hmm they are rare now as the devs are working on sp2 it seems.
you could strap a bunch of beacon lights to make custom flares. though they dont actually work as flares
make your own fighter aircraft line up. participate in tournaments.
