@Monarchii
yes.
the basic principle is controlled torque change
you make the torque on one rotor greater than the other and it's going to yaw the craft.
see.. the problem I had with coaxial-rotor setup is that it doesn't have any tail rotor.. and that means it can't Yaw unless you use gyroscope..
I respect the effort, but this is wrong.
I have made a Coax helo with 0 input help from the Gyroscope. Not only can it stabilize itself without a tail rotor, it can also Yaw.
how, you might ask? simple.
use the Alt Collective input and use them in the same direction. (invert the direction for collective input in the other rotor part.)
you can also go through the cooler, but more sanity draining method
make your own Throttle Governor to be able to do differential RPM and yaw your helo that way.
it depends on a couple of factors, but it basically boils down to two things:
either the link isn't supported, or the formatting is wrong.
first and foremost, what is the link you put on?
according to sp, builds with <300 parts are mobile friendly.
though, you're not limited by the game's performance itself, more of your device's performance.
@WinsWings
Well, as much as it is a tutorial for "beginners" you shouldn't mislead them into thinking gyro is the only way out.
Most beginners stay as a beginner because they only think of one solution. So it's not a good way of help to say that "no matter how, it sucks" when in reality it doesn't.
VTOL plane sucks without a gyro, no matter how you try for the balance.
This is not true.
The Vertigo is plenty good enough to fly vertically on it's own.
It is rather easy to balance a VTOL aircraft, as long as you follow the CoM rule.
Say you have two VTOL nozzles spaced to the front and back of the aircraft. Imagine the gap of these two to be the "bridge", and CoM to be a weight sitting on top of the bridge. As long as you don't offset this weight to the far front or far back of the bridge, your aircraft will stay relatively stable. This is the basic principle of VTOL flight.
Although, it is significantly harder to do this on a Lift-Fan system, so if you don't have much experience I recommend using a gyro, even if it means people will call you out as a cheater for it.
@Yeetuscheese
Sorry, but I am going to say no.
I generally don't want to touch other people's builds unless it's necessary for me, and this request to me does not seem necessary.
What I would do instead, is to recommend and help you assist with some of the troubles you're having. Here's some recommendations/advices:
I would highly recommend Walvis' Easy Afterburner Tutorial for making cool afterburners. In fact, my afterburners are a derivative of this technique.
I highly suggest looking at real-life pictures of the reference cockpit. It's pretty hard to make a good cockpit and it takes time. So be patient and trust the process.
Highly suggest changing your wing type from Wing-3 to Wing-2, as structural wings are much stronger in structure than regular primary wings. If you don't know how, you need to activate "Overload" mod first. It's built in to your application, so all you need to do is go to "Mods" and activate it. Then in designer, you can press the button with a </> sign on it. Change partType from Wing-3 to Wing-2, and reconnect.
I'm sorry for rejecting your request. I know building planes can be pretty taxing mentally, but you would be better off learning the skills than having to rely on other people to do so.
Have a great rest of your day!

just a quick build I guess, SP2 is coming out this year so this might become obsolete really fast
odd. That's not supposed to happen.
if you have SP, you can go to the web and click on the "Download" button. It'd open SP and download the craft right then and there.
Perhaps you have desktop view on?
@QuiteInactiveWhiteBread
I'm surprised you've gone this far without knowing how to ft
the simple way to start learning ft is through the official guides by WNP himself, it may be slightly outdated but it explains nearly everything in a very simple manner for beginners.
but either way, yes, that's the baseline of the code.
@QuiteInactiveWhiteBread
sorry, I get easily annoyed sometimes
I shouldn't expect everyone to be at the same level as I am
either way, the nozzle doesn't move it's thrust directions, only converging and diverging as a way to concentrate the air coming out of the engine to give it slightly more power
the petals move, the base of the nozzle itself doesn't is what I'm saying
and yes, that's the entire code. you can modify it however you want, make it only move in certain conditions, and make it move in a certain way corresponding to the input, but other than that, the baseline code is just that.
@RealMicroZackSP
trying to act real tough now, are you?
I do agree that I was pretty aggressive, but never did I say I hate you or anything. T'was but a simple question. You're getting the attention you asked for and was proven wrong in a positive light, are you happy now? Because you should be.
I also want to add the fact that you pointing out who would possibly hate you in public does sound very attention seeking. Saying "this guy probably hates me" in a public space open in front of everyone makes you look like you're only asking it even further.
@Monarchii
I'm pretty sure you don't need it, but to be safe I used a detacher too.
and instead of attaching the top to the aircraft I attach the back to the aircraft
the question I wanna ask is, on one side, I want to keep making mini-replicas, while the other, to tone it down and make them AI-friendlily spawnable, thoughts..?
For me, the main appeal in PEA building is making an aircraft's flight model as realistic as possible while toning down the details to keep it AI-spawnable, although not too far as to sacrifice it's model's accuracy.
The more dissapointing thing about it is that nobody seems to be seeing this too, and proceed to make PEAs of... Questionable quality.
I frankly never cared much about liveries, labels, nor the little nooks and crannies. To me, they add way too much cost to an otherwise fine looking aircraft, and it defeats the purpose of PEA.
but then again I make pea so I can spam replicas into my makeshift dogfights so, you do what you want lol
@ShiroNeko
Interesting. It's not showing in my side of things, so maybe it's about the image hosting site itself.
But anyway, me personally would recommend Imgbb. I'm not sure if you are using Imgbb, but it works perfectly for me and I haven't had much issues about other people telling me it doesn't show on their side.
few corrections:
- the Su-27 has only 1 control surface on each of it's wings, this one control surface act both as a flap and aileron
- the Su-27 is not the Flanker-C. It is the Flanker-B
holy moly
she's a beauty
the obvious attraction aside,
nice kingtiger. would be a bit dissapointed if you yourself didn't make it though
@Monarchii
probably just a bunch of sticc or smth I uno
I very often end up getting into either Maywar's runway or Yeager's runway
though I am a bit more towards Maywar's
@Monarchii
turns out helo rotors do actually simulate torque
@Monarchii
yes.

you can just remove the weapons on the designer, it's not that hard.

you have no idea the things I'm capable of doing
omg tiranei!!!!!!
taek dwown junro moderstoes nouw!!!!
@TheFlyingGoose
not really?
it's just the game trying to force it back to normal values
some parts actually do this
the game doesn't like you putting a value higher than maximum for certain parts so it resets whenever you reload it
odd. That's not supposed to happen.

I thought "no TVC" was clear enough
