@Ctracerx2 - Oh, well I screwed up then. I created a 1,1,4 angled. If you are around tomorrow, I'll make one, release it with "do not rate - helping user" and then delete it after you get it. How does that sound?
@WeirdheadedRedbeard - Do you have a link you can share with me? You know, I've always loved the Last Exile series and have wanted to build a Vanship for some time. I'd like to see this design. Maybe we can hack the center of mass of the plane you build to get it in the air. Lots of options and ideas to think about... Anyhoo, I'm in Texas and it is past midnight here. Gotta get to bed. Cheers!
@ElijtheGeat - The trick is to put the detacher and landing gear together, then you adjust the X, Y, Z coordinates for the wing and wheel. The game retains the coordinates after you run. All the hack are basically done this way. the funny thing with this game is that you can take any jumble of connected parts and turn them into an airplane by adjusting the XML coordinates. You can adjust XML on Android an PC, but not on iOS. I tried also on Mac but had limited success. Maybe Authors will be kind enough to release a community friendly version. It is a good idea and easy to hack.
@Allstarship I have a better understanding of block limitations now. Figuring out the math in the angles is compounded with existing angles of the parts and the complications of the x,y,z axis which can sometimes change on you mid mod.
@Devin - Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a markup language that defines a set of rules for encoding documents in a format which is both human-readable and machine-readable. There are tutorials on the web that will help you.
@hypnotoad thanks! I've really enjoyed watching others succeed and grow. For me, that's what makes this game fun. I've heard more people want nose cones of different sizes. I'll make more.
@Rohan they are just hacked parts. Nothing more. Official mod support is on its way. Or at least that is my understanding. I made these for iOS users who can't edit the XML. It is just a community service.
I dig it man! Nice design. Love seeing people use the props. The counter rotation looks cool. Keep tweaking this design, you are moving in the right direction. I'll follow your work now.
@Devin well, you can edit the XML for the plane or create and mod a sub assembly. Have a look at the files. Make backups in case things go wrong. ALWAYS Remember to make backups In case you screw up the XML.
@ElijtheGeat - I'm thinking... if we add intakes and angle them at 45 degrees we can turn your watermelon into a huge performer. I can try it, release and delete once you grab it. Let me know.
Thanks @rezpe and @PlanesOfOld I'm forgetting people to thank here. @Devin you need to adjust the XML. I have notes in my parts submissions on the location per platform.
@Airdude - he is sitting on a detacher. The plan was to have him "melt out", but instead he explodes after jumping around on the runway like a fish out of water. I should put two of them in a ring and make a robot fighting game. LOL!

Thanks for going back and looking at this older work, @JacobHardy64 I appreciate that, sir.
@Eric314 Done and done. Nice work Eric.
Took a while to load on my feeble computer, but holy spaceship batman, this thing looks great with highest settings on! Nice job.
It is clever how you clipped these engines. AND you did this on iOS, which makes you a wizard ;-) Keep up the good work!
Thanks @Eric314 @JMicah4 and @WeirdheadedRedbeard ping me if you need any help.
@Ctracerx2 - Remind me again what you wanted. Was it the embedded intake in the engine? I added that here, and gave the engine 10 X more power.
@NachoMan - what do you want to do with a floaty block?
@A5mod3us - I see you build on windows. Maybe I can write something up for folks. I can teach anyone how to do this.
This is a brilliant design. Love the action! Nice job sir!
I keep coming back to this plane since it is so much fun. Love the gear retraction design. Wonderful.

@T3485 - see my latest release for your smaller 3 prop.
@Zing2000 your huge cone is ready.
@NachoMan I will try!
@A5mod3us check out my MIG 19 it has a tutorial on the path to the XML.
It's coming soon @Zing2000!
@TwinStarIndusries the prop blades are cosmetic but use the VTOL slider to provide thrust.
@Allstarship I have a better understanding of block limitations now. Figuring out the math in the angles is compounded with existing angles of the parts and the complications of the x,y,z axis which can sometimes change on you mid mod.
@Ctracerx2 - yes, that is next. Maybe in a few hours...
Sunny in Texas!
@Ctracerx2 If you look under my MIG 19 you will find the path to get the XML. After that it is just trial and error. Hope this helps!
Superb performance, excellent speed, every thing I could wish for.
@WeeBabySeamus @hypnotoad thank you for the kind feedback. :-)
Wow this one is the best one yet! Could do one more with retracting gear?
Love the First Person View! Nice job!
@ElijtheGeat - OK I'll test it out!
@Devin - Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a markup language that defines a set of rules for encoding documents in a format which is both human-readable and machine-readable. There are tutorials on the web that will help you.
I need to test this!
@hypnotoad thanks! I've really enjoyed watching others succeed and grow. For me, that's what makes this game fun. I've heard more people want nose cones of different sizes. I'll make more.
Looks great! I like how you buried the rotators. Makes it very tight!
Again, I'm humbled. Thank you for the kind ratings everyone. This was a fun build.
Thank you everyone. I'll switch back to hacking parts for you next. This plane needed to be built. Have fun flying!
Wow thanks! Did hypnotoad come second?
@Rohan they are just hacked parts. Nothing more. Official mod support is on its way. Or at least that is my understanding. I made these for iOS users who can't edit the XML. It is just a community service.
Thanks again everyone for the feedback and questions. I'll get a five prop out soon since it has been requested.
I dig it man! Nice design. Love seeing people use the props. The counter rotation looks cool. Keep tweaking this design, you are moving in the right direction. I'll follow your work now.
I like it! Nice design and stable in the air.
@Zing2000 - didn't get the nose cone done tonight. Will try again tomorrow, man.
@Teus - didn't get the five bladed completed tonight. I'll try again tomorrow bud!
@Devin well, you can edit the XML for the plane or create and mod a sub assembly. Have a look at the files. Make backups in case things go wrong. ALWAYS Remember to make backups In case you screw up the XML.
Wow I am totally impressed! Your planes keep getting better and better! Do more!
@ElijtheGeat - I'm thinking... if we add intakes and angle them at 45 degrees we can turn your watermelon into a huge performer. I can try it, release and delete once you grab it. Let me know.
Very cool! Performance is ok, maybe four stars, but I reluctantly give it that last star to the looks!
Thanks @rezpe and @PlanesOfOld I'm forgetting people to thank here. @Devin you need to adjust the XML. I have notes in my parts submissions on the location per platform.
Thanks @corey1324 !
@Teus - yes, I'll make a five and six blade.
@Airdude - he is sitting on a detacher. The plan was to have him "melt out", but instead he explodes after jumping around on the runway like a fish out of water. I should put two of them in a ring and make a robot fighting game. LOL!
No, I'm working on a Ki-84 Frank. Looking forward to your plane!
