@Ctracerx2 - Oh, well I screwed up then. I created a 1,1,4 angled. If you are around tomorrow, I'll make one, release it with "do not rate - helping user" and then delete it after you get it. How does that sound?

  • Free Props V and Cones 10.4 years ago

@WeirdheadedRedbeard - Do you have a link you can share with me? You know, I've always loved the Last Exile series and have wanted to build a Vanship for some time. I'd like to see this design. Maybe we can hack the center of mass of the plane you build to get it in the air. Lots of options and ideas to think about... Anyhoo, I'm in Texas and it is past midnight here. Gotta get to bed. Cheers!

  • Mistel 1 (Messerschmitt 109 and Junkers 88) 10.4 years ago

Thanks for going back and looking at this older work, @JacobHardy64 I appreciate that, sir.

  • Free Props V and Cones 10.4 years ago

@Eric314 Done and done. Nice work Eric.

  • S-IC 10.4 years ago

Took a while to load on my feeble computer, but holy spaceship batman, this thing looks great with highest settings on! Nice job.

  • Rocketdyne F-1 10.4 years ago

It is clever how you clipped these engines. AND you did this on iOS, which makes you a wizard ;-) Keep up the good work!

  • Free Props V and Cones 10.4 years ago

Thanks @Eric314 @JMicah4 and @WeirdheadedRedbeard ping me if you need any help.

  • Free Props IV 10.4 years ago

@Ctracerx2 - Remind me again what you wanted. Was it the embedded intake in the engine? I added that here, and gave the engine 10 X more power.

  • Free Props IV 10.4 years ago

@NachoMan - what do you want to do with a floaty block?

  • Free Props IV 10.4 years ago

@A5mod3us - I see you build on windows. Maybe I can write something up for folks. I can teach anyone how to do this.

  • Really Working Pistol 10.4 years ago

This is a brilliant design. Love the action! Nice job sir!

  • Conwing L-16 10.4 years ago

I keep coming back to this plane since it is so much fun. Love the gear retraction design. Wonderful.

  • North American P-51D Mustang 10.4 years ago

@ElijtheGeat - The trick is to put the detacher and landing gear together, then you adjust the X, Y, Z coordinates for the wing and wheel. The game retains the coordinates after you run. All the hack are basically done this way. the funny thing with this game is that you can take any jumble of connected parts and turn them into an airplane by adjusting the XML coordinates. You can adjust XML on Android an PC, but not on iOS. I tried also on Mac but had limited success. Maybe Authors will be kind enough to release a community friendly version. It is a good idea and easy to hack.

  • Free Props II 10.4 years ago

@T3485 - see my latest release for your smaller 3 prop.

  • Free Props IV 10.4 years ago

@Zing2000 your huge cone is ready.

  • Free Props IV 10.4 years ago

    @NachoMan I will try!

  • Free Props IV 10.4 years ago

@A5mod3us check out my MIG 19 it has a tutorial on the path to the XML.

  • Free Props IV 10.4 years ago

    It's coming soon @Zing2000!

  • Free Props 10.4 years ago

@TwinStarIndusries the prop blades are cosmetic but use the VTOL slider to provide thrust.

  • Free Props IV 10.4 years ago

@Allstarship I have a better understanding of block limitations now. Figuring out the math in the angles is compounded with existing angles of the parts and the complications of the x,y,z axis which can sometimes change on you mid mod.

  • Free Props IV 10.4 years ago

@Ctracerx2 - yes, that is next. Maybe in a few hours...

  • rainy weather in holland 10.4 years ago

    Sunny in Texas!

  • Free Props IV 10.4 years ago

@Ctracerx2 If you look under my MIG 19 you will find the path to get the XML. After that it is just trial and error. Hope this helps!

  • Star Jet 10.4 years ago

Superb performance, excellent speed, every thing I could wish for.

  • KI-84 10.4 years ago

@WeeBabySeamus @hypnotoad thank you for the kind feedback. :-)

  • EXF-9 Amur Tiger 10.4 years ago

Wow this one is the best one yet! Could do one more with retracting gear?

  • JAWS 10.4 years ago

Love the First Person View! Nice job!

  • EXF-9 Amur Tiger 10.4 years ago

    @ElijtheGeat - OK I'll test it out!

  • MIG-19 10.4 years ago

@Devin - Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a markup language that defines a set of rules for encoding documents in a format which is both human-readable and machine-readable. There are tutorials on the web that will help you.

  • JAWS 10.4 years ago

    I need to test this!

  • Free Props III and other things 10.4 years ago

@hypnotoad thanks! I've really enjoyed watching others succeed and grow. For me, that's what makes this game fun. I've heard more people want nose cones of different sizes. I'll make more.

  • North American P-51D Mustang 10.4 years ago

Looks great! I like how you buried the rotators. Makes it very tight!

  • KI-84 10.4 years ago

Again, I'm humbled. Thank you for the kind ratings everyone. This was a fun build.

  • KI-84 10.4 years ago

Thank you everyone. I'll switch back to hacking parts for you next. This plane needed to be built. Have fun flying!

  • Glider challange 10.4 years ago

Wow thanks! Did hypnotoad come second?

  • Free Props 10.4 years ago

@Rohan they are just hacked parts. Nothing more. Official mod support is on its way. Or at least that is my understanding. I made these for iOS users who can't edit the XML. It is just a community service.

  • Free Props 10.4 years ago

Thanks again everyone for the feedback and questions. I'll get a five prop out soon since it has been requested.

  • Conwing L-16 10.4 years ago

I dig it man! Nice design. Love seeing people use the props. The counter rotation looks cool. Keep tweaking this design, you are moving in the right direction. I'll follow your work now.

  • Type 3J 10.4 years ago

I like it! Nice design and stable in the air.

  • Free Props III and other things 10.4 years ago

@Zing2000 - didn't get the nose cone done tonight. Will try again tomorrow, man.

  • Free Props III and other things 10.4 years ago

@Teus - didn't get the five bladed completed tonight. I'll try again tomorrow bud!

  • MIG-19 10.4 years ago

@Devin well, you can edit the XML for the plane or create and mod a sub assembly. Have a look at the files. Make backups in case things go wrong. ALWAYS Remember to make backups In case you screw up the XML.

  • Steampunk Escorter 10.4 years ago

Wow I am totally impressed! Your planes keep getting better and better! Do more!

  • EXF-7 Watermelon 10.4 years ago

@ElijtheGeat - I'm thinking... if we add intakes and angle them at 45 degrees we can turn your watermelon into a huge performer. I can try it, release and delete once you grab it. Let me know.

  • EXF-7 Watermelon 10.4 years ago

Very cool! Performance is ok, maybe four stars, but I reluctantly give it that last star to the looks!

  • MIG-19 10.4 years ago

Thanks @rezpe and @PlanesOfOld I'm forgetting people to thank here. @Devin you need to adjust the XML. I have notes in my parts submissions on the location per platform.

  • MIG-19 10.4 years ago

    Thanks @corey1324 !

  • Free Props III and other things 10.4 years ago

@Teus - yes, I'll make a five and six blade.

  • Free Props III and other things 10.4 years ago

@Airdude - he is sitting on a detacher. The plan was to have him "melt out", but instead he explodes after jumping around on the runway like a fish out of water. I should put two of them in a ring and make a robot fighting game. LOL!

  • Free Props III and other things 10.4 years ago

No, I'm working on a Ki-84 Frank. Looking forward to your plane!
