I suggest putting the physics setting on low. Everything else can be on high. Physics on high tends to make the plane spin off when taking off the runway! VTOL up to retract gears. Enjoy.

First place the part's in a way that they work then move them by changing the position coordinates. It's also possible to place parts anywhere else and to create a new connection by writing it yourself into the file (which is what I did with the rear gear).9.1 years ago

109k WalrusAircraft@ElijtheGeat - The trick is to put the detacher and landing gear together, then you adjust the X, Y, Z coordinates for the wing and wheel. The game retains the coordinates after you run. All the hack are basically done this way. the funny thing with this game is that you can take any jumble of connected parts and turn them into an airplane by adjusting the XML coordinates. You can adjust XML on Android an PC, but not on iOS. I tried also on Mac but had limited success. Maybe Authors will be kind enough to release a community friendly version.
