I'm not liking the drag and drop sub assemblies feature. I don't want to create sub assemblies of one part, I want to make sub assemblies of connected parts that are detached from the cockpit. It might be a bug actually since when you click a plane that is not attached to the cockpit, the sub assemblies button shows up for a split second, then goes away. You are not able to click the sub assembly button to create a new part in your inventory.
@AlphaOneIndustries - Yeah, they are hard to sink. I think the trick is to carpet bomb them and get out fast. I'd like to see a ton of torpedoes take them out.
That would make my day if you added that. I've been generally impressed with your level of user assistance in this game. I'm not sure which of you guys put the work into that, so kudos to all of you. Large companies like the one I work at struggle to add good UA into our products, and we make billions of dollars in revenue. You guys should be proud; you've made a responsive design game and community, that does better design than many of the big software houses. Your game artwork islands / object designs is also is original (not ugly off the shelf objects) and the AI is fantastic. @nathanmikeska
I like how the ships fly off in different directions with the modded bullets in my flying toaster. I damaged the carrier with a sausage, but the bacon missiles were really useless. Having trouble getting a direct hit with the toast. I'm getting hungry for revenge after the ships took me out.
@nathanmikeska - Well yes, that is a standard accessibility option and it would be appreciated. But I'm thinking a bit more... I have several sub assemblies and saved planes and plane versions, and I have to clear them out of my XML file often (housekeeping) and save to a separate files. It would be nice to auto scroll down to subs or planes with letters like "B" or "Z". Maybe use Alt + letter key. It would speed things up quite a bit, because when you edit an XML file, then run to test, you end up at the top of the list. More of an annoyance of always scrolling after updating XML files, running, then loading again.
Have a look at my steampunk airship for some ideas. I found that six rotors was much more stable. Some modders actually create complicated swash plates as well. As for aircraft, the TU-95 is huge and heavily modded. Try pulling it apart to see how I made the body larger. I would start smaller. Think of a theme to start with... Like Steam Punk or fantasy... Then try to envision your creation. Do you like anime? Think of ships / planes you really like. The trick is being passionate about what you build. I sometimes spend 40 to 60 hours on the creation. @Preston1234
Torpedo Attack
@nathanmikeska - Correction... this does work... It was just not that intuitive. Add some first time help to prompt the player to drag and drop.

Nice job! Fast boat.
@Destroyer5713 - If you are on an iPhone, you need to run in medium or high settings and it won't blow up.
@AlphaOneIndustries - I'd really like to see that. It is a new challenge and is quite fun actually.

@Himynameiswalrus - lol, yes, I saw that.
@deusalgor - Thank you, sir!
@Himynameiswalrus - I actually made a Walrus that has bridge destroying guns. I use it to attack the new boats from the water. It is kind of funny.
@Thelaw11 @AlphaOneIndustries - Thanks... Yes check out the forum. Beta is for Steam.
@Delphinus - You should upload it anyway, man.
@SteadfastContracting - Wow! I just noticed that.
@Himynameiswalrus - Hi almost walrus
You can try them on the following planes I've made: Torpedo bomber 1 and Torpedo bomber 2

Thank you for the airplane properties. Any chance you can add quick keys for power users?
Thank for trying it out. @Madlycat
Oh you mean this one? @Madlycat
@Madlycat :-) Have you tried my updated Bear?
Agreed! You are good in my eyes. Great job on this build!
Awesome!
That was a great movie. @Ironghost
Nice. Very fast and lots of bombs.
I attached them to rotators. Do you see the rotators? @Preston1234
I forgot the Gritz. @iDrakeZz
I'll announce winners soon... I've been working so much that I'll have to wait until the weekend. @masteroftheskys
Thanks Authros. @Authros
Sure, but it is a modified version of the reaper @realluochen9999 made, so give him credit, too. @TheMasterSoldier
That's great! How did you recover it? @JMicah4
Thanks, I'm glad you like it! @SimpleName11
How fun! You really built upon the elephant. Great job!
@goboygo1 @PlanesOfOld - lol!

Congrats guys!
I made a tiny (micro version) of that plane. Check out my earlier work. :-) @Wiggles
We are being attacked by silver wear! @PlanesOfOld
Yum! @Yottabyte1024
That's pretty puny! @SimpleName11
I have some notes here @Preston1234 do you have any ideas on what you want to build next?
And I see you are on OSX, so you can do XML modding. I can get you started on that.
Tell you what... I'll mentor you if you need help. Just ping me in the future if you have questions. @Preston1234
Your first plane is just fine. Look at my first plane. Nothing to write home about. I flew and rated it. :-) @Preston1234
Not bad for a first plane. Let me know if you need help in the future
Much thanks @Notapier
@IStoleYourMeme @Notapier @SUPERSAMROCK - I should hire you guys as body guards. 🤔
Too much protein? The muffins are vegan. @Sirstupid
