I appreciate your offer, but I've got a few other projects lined up. I hope people participate in your challenge, even if I can't. Maybe Walrus Jr. will participate. @Ktay45
@AeroEngineering - OK it is up and I changed quite a bit to make it look and fly well. [http://www.simpleplanes.com/a/59606u/AeroEngineering-WalrusAircraft]
Good question. I don't know how those old engines worked. The double wasp engines of WW II did not spin. Check out YouTube to see how the worked. Kind of cool. @AeroEngineering
@AeroEngineering - I basically got it working. I removed the extra jet engine, removed the flaps because they were behind the COM, added two small props again at 20X power, increased the length of wings, and added a fuel tank with -2000 lbs just above the cab. It is rough and I'd like to play with it more. This is basically the second plane I was going to build. :-) I was going to do a single prop, but Jr. wanted a bi-plane. I can share back to you after I sort out the kinks, but it seems to work. Are you in a rush to get this out?
Not a new part (but thanks for the compliment). It was blood sweat and tears working the XML to shape everything by hand. About 9 hours worth of time on the engine. @DeezDucks
@AeroEngineering - this plane has some serious power since it is big. I think the front engine is 3x power, and there are two hidden old style small props in the body, each at 20x power. I can remove them for you if you like. Oh, I also gave a VTOL engine hidden at 1% power to turn the Pistons.
@goboygo1 @RAF1 @XVIindustries - thanks guys. I tried to copy the Gnome engine design. To be honest, it was a huge amount of work to get this looking and working right. At least 7 hours on the engine alone.
Oh, oops. I am dearly sorry I did not wish you happy birthday. I have gotten sooo sidetrack with school and cello, I just can't keep up with the website. I can't believe Walrus.Sr missed this too. You where always wishing us happy birthday, and I am dearly sorry we could not return the favor on the correct day. :-(
Nice cockpit, exterior and description.
@Authros thanks man!
Ping me when you finish it :-) @XVIindustries
Holy cow! You are close to 50K in points. @SpiritusRaptor

Yes, you should share that aircraft with the world. It is quite fun to fly around. @AeroEngineering
This is pretty amazing dude!
Nice job. Flys very well.
You should make a challenge with this. :-) @Cedy117
Let me know if you need more help. I need to get back to some testing I'm not allowed to talk about. @AeroEngineering
I did, and my first thought was "cool!"
I would not attempt it since toy will go squirrelly with the angles in XML. @AeroEngineering
Ugh... forgot how to make links work...

This is worthy of a tip of my hat!
Thank you. And you plane from last week looks good. I'll try it out later. @NovaTopaz
Sorry I was working late. I'll upload as soon as I get home today. @AeroEngineering
It looks huge! I'll try to fly later today. @XVIindustries

@AeroEngineering - BTW, if you use a throw away email, I can just email you the XML. Easier than posting...

This is perfectly amazing on all levels.
@alstar308 @NotBoeing - thanks for your support, guys!
I was on the phone for several hours and could not test. I promise to test tomorrow! @AeroEngineering
Only when you want clean lines and less drag. @Dynimerous
It was late and I reused my torpedo bomber body. In hindsight I should have used a single wheel an fixed front wheels. @Dynimerous
OK I see it and will look at it after dinner. @AeroEngineering
Thank you for the kind words, gentlemen. @Nickasaurus @SkipperBing
Thank you, sir! @SpiritusRaptor
Sure... Just give me a link to the work @AeroEngineering

Thanks Andrew. I still owe you some files. @AndrewGarrison
Yes, search Google for "Gnome rotary engine startup" and watch the video. @mattmck
@Cedy117 @Me600 @Stingray @FlOu @BardofBricks - Good morning / evening folks. Thanks for your support!
Well, I am Canadian, so I should do this... I have a busy week ahead of me, so let me consider this. @Cedy117
Being a father / son team sometimes we each think the other upvoted a great plane. Sorry for being late to the party.
Sweet paint job!
Nice job!
@jheffernan - Thanks man. I'm off to bed now, but I hope you enjoy flying it.
Woah! Big plane! Is is very cool, and flys well!
Wow! I can't believe I missed this! What a crazy project! Very awesome.
Thanks man! Yeah, this bird has surprising flight characteristics. cheers! @RedstoneArmory
Thank you. This was created before the update that introduced the additional landing gear. @Flightsonic
Thanks. It was one of the hardest builds due to the small size. @Flightsonic
Yes, modded fuel tank and specific angles on multiple parts in the same location to make a round part. @Flightsonic
Thank you, sir! @Codebreakerblue
Thank you. @Flightsonic
