Here is a concept 9 piston rotary engine bi-plane I designed. It is a big bird since I used my biggest parts for the body, but I think it flys well for the size and design. Just be sure to get it up-to-speed on takeoff (around 150 mph). I'm planning to reuse my engine in other planes, and I'll share it in a separate posting in a few days since I know many of you were looking for this engine. In the meantime, please enjoy. It was a fun build (Walrus Sr.).

@WalrusAircraft oh OK I see. Is there ever a benefit to using that wheel for a single back wheel?

It was late and I reused my torpedo bomber body. In hindsight I should have used a single wheel an fixed front wheels. @Dynimerous

Great job. Question: why did you chose that particular piece for the back wheel?

@WalrusAircraft yeah, I've already removed the two old props, I already figured out the vtol to turn the pistons, the system is genius. I added a bit more power to the main engine, that might be part of the problem. Do you think yo could take a look at it?

Not a new part (but thanks for the compliment). It was blood sweat and tears working the XML to shape everything by hand. About 9 hours worth of time on the engine. @DeezDucks

@AeroEngineering - this plane has some serious power since it is big. I think the front engine is 3x power, and there are two hidden old style small props in the body, each at 20x power. I can remove them for you if you like. Oh, I also gave a VTOL engine hidden at 1% power to turn the Pistons.

@WalrusAircraft 2Ben building this, did you have any torque issues with the engine parts? The reason I'm asking is because I'm building a plane with this fuselauge, and the engine torque is causing it to spin out of control on the runway.

How did you do the engine? I haven't downloaded it yet but is that a new part???
