@BaconEggs One other person died because of a SWA incident in the late 90s-early 2000s. The plane overshot the runway and someone on the ground was killed.
@WaffleCakes The Air Force decided to put on an extra P-51 fuselage. This is because the Air Force wanted to give the P-51 more range and crew endurance for long range escort missions. The extra fuselage and more wing provided more lift, more thrust, more range, and a second pilot so the crew could take shifts. It was actually a genius idea.
