@Dynimerous No tricks here. I just placed it close to where I wanted it, zoomed in, squared up my view and painstakingly centered it visually. The base of the nozzle is actually an octagon so there are little corners you can use to fine tune its position. It helps to have something to line it up to. I hope this helps. I am glad to lend advice whenever I can.
Saw the pilots, awesome detail! You certainly are good with that. I must have missed your joint at the foot. I'll take another look and let you know what I think. I tested it at work (shhhh) so I had to be quick.
My CL-84 you rated is full of this sort of black magic. I built a body around a skeleton, then removed the skeleton. Not done with mirroring, but a similar result. The wing pieces seem to have a versatile sort of "stickiness"
Holy crap! This aircraft is some kind of agile! Very fast too; I didn't even get the chance to pull back on the stick before it screamed into the skies. Very nice work my friend.
@FlOu I'd be happy to try. It is much harder to explain than it is to actually do. I'll try to put together a simplified explanation. I'm sure you could put such techniques to good use.
Super cool build and a nice flyer! Even when I accidentally destroyed the vertical stabs on the right wing during takeoff. Odd how the props lock like that..
@Zing2000 @WeirdheadedRedbeard @LoganBorth415 Great ideas guys! I am thinking about putting out another model or two but I'm probably going to hold of for a little while in hopes other people will post a few more variations of my base model. I would love to see what you guys or anybody else can come up with.
What part of VT are you from dude? I currently live in southern VT but I have friends from here to the NEKingdom. It's cool to learn there is another talented builder hailing from the green mountains. A lot of people don't even know where that is. I've had people ask me what state Vermont is in before.
Thanks for the stars everyone! I really enjoyed building this. Sorry I havn't been very responsive. I am very busy at work this time of year. I will get back to everyone tonight. Happy avenging!
Nice! That's more than half the battle! Ya steering is next to impossible haha. I managed to steer a little (sometimes) with mine by turning the head to one side and adjusting how I roll the stick. But it is quite difficult.
If you want to put your favorite planes on your "Best airplanes" page , select the little down arrow under their picture and select highlight. The last one highlighted will be the first one on the page. This one needs a seat of honor!
@CmdrAlex By all means! I'd love to see what you've got. As for the walking mechanisms, I tried to mimick the "actual" AT-AT movements. There are 4 "hip" joints at the center used to raise your legs while the outer 4 "hips move the raised legs (opposing i.e. Front, left and rear right) forward and back. The knee and ankle joints are primarily to keep your feet level though the whole motion. I set everything for leg control on the right stick, to be rolled clockwise. Using pitch for hips and roll for knees and ankles. This allows for a smooth transition as one lessens and the other increases. If you download mine and watch its motions closely, it should help. It's hard to explain all at once, but if you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask. Oh, and one thing that's makes a world of difference is heavy feet.. I'll keep an eye out for your upload.
Woah! Incredible! You have blown my mind. Such a cool flight concept. I like the helmet too. Reminds me of old power ranger action figures. Anybody that doesn't like this is just, "a sad, strange little man..." Keep it up friend!
@Shadoscythe Thanks for rating! I've run into this problem myself. It usually happens if I've been using other locations before loading the mech. Especially water and aircraft carrier starts. Restarting the application always fixes it.
Goddamn glorious my friend! I don't save many aircraft to my device but this is going on the top of the list. It's too bad it's your last, youarecoolguy.

It is hard quite hard to make "airplanes" walk. You are pioneer on this design my friend

Sharing tricks is a swell way to be. A level playing field is more fun.
Slick design! Regular winged hot rod
Great looks again dude! I think if you centered the cockpit a little more it would help it stay up.
Looks awesome dude! Great detail on the cockpit. I think ankle joints would help it walk better.
Wow! Super fun little flyer! Nice! Job!
Looks like a little rat-rod in airplane form! Very cool!
Cool concept

A long way from out of the woods, the green mountains of Vermont, USA
@ElijtheGeat I work on the reservoir in West Boylston quite often.
One of the few suits worn by someone other than Tony Stark.
Slick paint! That was a gangster suit-case in the movie!
Woah dude... Sooo much epic!
Woah! Super cool concept! You are awesome at building outside the box! It already flies quite nicely. I don't really have any suggestions. Nice job!
Cool concepts applied to a killer design! Nicely done!
Perfection my friend! Nicely done! I could hardly say this aircraft is unstable. It is a beautiful flyer, and those engines look so sweet.

What a beautiful behemoth!
I like how the guns spin. The paint is obviously awesome
Woah dude! Super talented build! As per usual from you. You are a master of performance jets.
Nice variation! I hope more people follow "suit!" Haha
@KingDeadshot thank you
You are. The man.
Thanks for the stars everyone! I really enjoyed building this. Sorry I havn't been very responsive. I am very busy at work this time of year. I will get back to everyone tonight. Happy avenging!
It's like a terminator firefly! Very cool flight concept.
The green mountains of Vermont, U.S.A. I also lived in Texas for several years as a musician in Austin.

Front page looks good btw!
Cool! Honestly, the speed is probably pretty accurate for a paddle boat.
Clean and concise. Very dialed-in flight. This is a fine aircraft.

This is a cool looking jet and a really nice flyer. Very responsive. Great work!

Interesting idea. Way to step outside of the box.
Pretty cool. I put the cockpit on the droid cart, set the wheels to true steer and took them for a cruise
Unique design, well balanced, very maneuverable and quite stable. Great job!
She truly is a beauty! I like your style. Keep it up friend!
Your skills are easily as dangerous as this tiger. Keep it up friend!
Such a cool design! Way to step outside of the box my friend. I look forward to what you produce next.
Blue tag?! Whaaaaat?!
