Special Delivery Challenge

So, folks around here seem to like challenges, so here's one of my own.

Transport the sphere from South Runway to North Runway. The sphere must begin on the ground. It's up to you to figure out how to load the cargo into your vehicle before transporting it to the other island.

The rules are as follows:

The sphere must begin on the ground, but may begin anywhere around your craft except for directly under it.

You must devise a way to load the sphere into the craft you build, and must make it to the other runway.

The sphere must then be able to be offloaded on that runway.

You may use parts clipping, but no modded parts.

To make basic qualification, you must meet those requirements.

I will be personally judging the qualifying entries based on creativity, efficiency, ingenuity, and handling.

Only one entry per contestant please.

Please upload your entries as successors to this file to enter.

Winner will recieve 5-star ratings on five planes of their choosing. Second Place will recieve 3, and third will recieve 2.

Cut off is Friday, May 22, and I will judge the entries on Saturday, May 23.

Happy Flying, and may the best engineer win!

UPDATE!

The competition is officially closed. After careful consideration, the following builders are the winners, based on design, and performance:

3rd place: Nachoman, with his modified B-52 replica.

2nd place: Ocora with his boxy, but effective delivery plane

1st place: JoeAdkinson with his yellow and black nose-loader

To the other contestants, a warm thank you for participating. We had a few truly inventive, and complex designs. However, when it came down to effectiveness, the simpler designs were able to perform the best repeatedly. Overall, as an experiment, I think this was pretty darn successful.

Until next time, HAPPY FLYING!

Cool. Looking forward to the bi-plane. As for the nozzles, go ahead and upload it and let me see how they work, and then I'll decide. Probably they're fine, as long as they're not giving extra thrust or anything.

@A5mod3us just saying it won't give any advantage they just spin the rotors without the whole thing being tossed from side to side it Literaly does nothing exept turn the rotors that are at an angle that then provide lift :)

@A5mod3us I am still working on it! Is it allowed to use a modified thruster nozzle that dosnt move the craft from side to side when the rotor is spinning it's just that the craft drops the sphere and goes out of controll when you start the rotors!

@Wakescar I figured a challenge should be just that: A challenge. I'm all for design contests, but a challenge with a goal seems like it would be a lot more fun, and give the contestants a fun objective. If this challenge is really successful, I'll come up with other weird, objective based challenges later down the road :D

Question, is using a modded fuel cell allowed? Would be used for ballast?... great challenge by the way! Already having fun with it! Best challenge yet!
