@Haikuotiankong it is EXTREMELY hard to get a video game into the chinese market, and there are hundreds of strict guidelines that this game has to follow. also, if they want to have a website for the game to upload to, it has to be a chinese based website, that has to undergo extremely strict moderation. it is not a financially smart idea for the devs to do a chinese version. as chinese servers, to my knowledge, are expensive as hell, and the devs already have 3 websites and two communities. adding another website and community is just a money sink for where profit never returns.
A seamless way to transition between SP and SPVR, as we will need to quickly be able to swap between VR flight and the designer to build a cockpit. Aka, I don't want to wait 5 minutes just to test out a small change in a build
I mainly use it to move subassemblies without jank, and i have figured out how to get mods on ios, but the moderators and devs ill ban me on the spot if i tell you how
I dunno if you have any experience with general android development, but now that SP won't get any updates for quite some time, I have a good theory of how the community could bring back android modding support. (I'm no android dev myself but I've seen the same thing happen to other apps, so it could be doable.)
Said theory is patching. We do not have to abide by the play store's rules, we can extract the simpleplanes apk, decompile it, insert our own code, re-sign it, and bam, we have mods. We shouldn't have the patch itself contain mods, instead, we have the patch be a modloader that lets the game read and run standard spmod.android files. The mobile version can still run certain map mods, but lacks the support to run any real code, Perhaps we can patch in a way to run the code instead of a whole modloader.
(Search up ReVanced & lucky patcher if you want examples of apk patching)
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes JNO has one connection per connection point per part. You cant just connect everything together willy nilly like you can in SP. In JNO, I can only have a fuel tank connected to one end of a rotator and a wing on the other
in SP, I could have 4 fuselages, a wing, and a missile connected to one end, and have the other end connected to multiple fuselages, a fuel tank, and a cockpit block.
The pointer tool on JNO mobile has much smaller hotboxes than the one on SP mobile, leading to me fat fingering it and creating a giant mess of mirrored parts.
Unfortunate to see, but not surprising. I would move over to SR2 and start building there, but due to severe limitations of it's building system, I will stick around here. SP shall never die.

6: people are getting platinum a LOT faster than they used to, other than that, it's alright, though something seems missing from the old days
Not things I hate doing but things I dislike in general:
.
1: having to rebuild something because i didn't make a backup
.
2: telling people that if they add the VR tag to their builds, they don't have to ping a curator (only ping me if the build in question is unlisted, otherwise, I can see it in my headset using the VR tag)
.
3: the undo button
.
4: connections on detachers, pistons, and suspension springs being incredibly wobbly even on high physics
.
5: the overabundance of replicas on the website (this game is about building the planes of your wildest dreams and you decided to build something that already exists. remember the days of hypno planes? Those were cool)
.
6: people who post memes in the airplane section
.
7: rewriting the same FT code 5 times because the last 4 iterations dont work or lag too much
.
8: Tuning PID loops
.
9: narcissists (there's not many, but I try my best to stay away when one crops up)
@BeastHunter curation is about VR compatibility, and seeing 2 of everything while trying to drive around using a Dpad smaller than your hand really doesn't work that well. Said Dpad is directly below your head (it's touching your chin) and moving to a more comfortable spot will clip you outside of the imposter
@ASBE I was going to upvote bomb you, but you only have two posts, so I can't give much of one. (An upvote bomb is upvoting every post on someone's account)

+5No, I will not ignore this post
+5In flight, you can just keep flying upwards, you can't collide with the sky
+5A seamless way to transition between SP and SPVR, as we will need to quickly be able to swap between VR flight and the designer to build a cockpit. Aka, I don't want to wait 5 minutes just to test out a small change in a build
+5Remove cockpit, save everything but the rotators as a subassembly, then make a new craft and bring out the subassembly
+5but can it run DooM?
+5At this point just make DooM already
+5SP needs a new trailer, the current one has old alpha parts
+5@NightmareCorporation thanos
+5That looks real
+5An object capable of levitation but only with forward movement

@jetnyan shhhhh
+5Can we do the same approach minecraft did and use a seperate modlauncher? Or is modding out the window for android
+5Can this be added to the base game in 1.9?

+4All i want right now is a massive bug fixing rampage, overhaul of the undo button, and a bunch of quality of life stuff.
Update 1.13: just the little things
+4It is changeable on SPVR on PC, and is changeable by editing game files in SPVR quest.
just be warned, changing physics settings on quest will cause immense lag. There is a reason it isn't changeable via normal means
+4Please add the VR tag if you want the curators to look at your build. Don't ping us about it, just add the tag and wait.

+4Congratulations on platinum. Your okthxbye permit will be in the mail soon

I forgot what the others are. Will update when i curate later today

in the dev consoleSetting calculateDrag to false reduces lag, and has exact same effect as setting dragScale to 0.
Setting dragscale to 0 doesn't reduce lag as the drag calculations are still done
