Modern, of course, as the Combined SImpleVerse- at least in terms of time such as day and age- aligns with our own universe (e.g. the starting date of the M-War in our real world is the same exactly down to the minute as the one in the lore). 4th gen is most preferable, due to building ease, strategy and whatnot, but if this is anything like the first M-War, we'll probably allow aircraft down to 3rd gen and maybe all the way up to 6th gen. We'll have to see, though.
-Of course! PEAs were actually the Monarchii's main aircraft during the M-War, such as the AI Fulcrum, PEA Harrier, or the Plopter, which only is denied of PEA status due to being a fictional design. Speaking of these aircraft, all of them should probably return, since the Loyalists will only have old Monarchii war machines up until the point when external contributors arrive.

Alright guys, allow me explain something that Chii and I have been working out:
M-War II development is in motion, but it's not gonna be quite like the original M-War. M-War II is instead going to be a civil war amongst the Monarchiian people between the Loyalists (people loyal to the Monarchii) and the Reformists (people who want a communist reformation). More than likely the MDA won't actually do direct fighting like combat strategy or sending our best units like Tonk, Havoc IIs, Skywolves or such. Instead we're going to be supplying weapons to whichever side wants our help. I would say most likely the Loyalists, since they really don't have anything other than the few remaining old weapons from the M-War (at least to my knowledge), and the Reformists will probably get weapons from fellow communist forces. Plus, both sides probably dislike the MDA, but the Reformists moreso as they likely want to take revenge should they win the M-War II.
Like I said though, still in development, not all the details are worked out, but this is the bulk information so far. While we're at it though, where should it take place? Snowstone like the original M-War? Krakabloa? Wright? Skypark? Maywar?
Personally I suggest Snowstone or Krakabloa. Snowstone would make the most sense, not just as a callback to the original M-War, but since that's where the Monarchii seems to be based. Wright is kinda overused, since that's where all of the TB, TC, and S-War hostilities took place. Skypark would be interesting, but I doubt the head of Skypark Dracul0Anderson would be any too happy about that, and Maywar would be fun too but between the MDA resources there combined with the fact I'd have to use my computer for that (as an iPad main), Maywar may be less than ideal.

Oh the jetpacks and shoulder cannons are operational though. So are the lights and the left-hand laser, but the latter can't be aimed, that being the sole issue.
@Monarchii Eh, we ran out of those a few years back, but we have tons of prosthetic heads to give away! Not sure why nobody uses them, anyone who wouldn't want a prosthetic head must be BRAINLESS...

But PEA does have some other requirements, namely allowing aircraft to be AI compatable (e.g. no activation group for engines, only a certain number of wings, max 96 parts, etc...)

Most official PEA aircraft have shiny canopies, save for the few which don't have windows for the sake of part efficiency. My planes very much have canopies, but none of them shiny, so... rip lol

And I may be getting better too: I've been making more planes, one of which was an La-15, and said plane had so few parts that I had to add a decal and wing fences just to make it 30 parts lol
