@ollielebananiaCFSP It's simply a preference of mine. A time consuming one? Yes. But so far the results I've gotten from using this technique have been pretty good.
@DvalinAirlines Nope. Entirely different.
I might consider an interceptor role for this thing though (like the Gluhareff Dart), depending on how it performs.
@jamesPLANESii Normally yes.
In my case however, it becomes a bit much when several (if not all) of the segments that make up the wings have to have wing panels hidden inside. Those wing panels also have to be manually adjusted using the XML editor (changing things like rootTrailingOffset to something like 0.437875, then repeating it four times for every wing panel). There are easier options (like scaling down a single wing section), but where's the fun in that?
I realize that this is nothing compared to the paneling masterpieces or the 2000+ part replicas, but it's still going to be a time consuming task.
@Hiimakeplanes Never thought about it. Might be interesting.
It would be horrible for aerodynamics though, and I'm not quite sure how aesthetically pleasing it would look.
@Bellcat @Soardivision160th Agreed.
Given that the swashplate appears to be made from scratch, I can see why it might be a bit difficult to cover.
I would recommend looking at the S97 Raider for swashplate covering.
Again, this is simply a suggestion. It's your helicopter; do as you like.
@STENDEC Fictional stealth helicopter.
It's essentially a mix between an S-97 and an F-117 (though it doesn't resemble an F-117, it just uses paneling).
@Lithesafe647 In that case, using something like this should help with the issue:
Throttle-rate(IAS/#)
Changing the # changes the acceleration of the build. You'll need to keep increasing this number until the aircraft takes off fast enough without going too fast.
I think at this point it's better to paste the link as plain text instead of markdown, simply because the website has been rather paranoid about the whole train scam thing.
@ssenmodnar I did a bit of testing. Using Overload to set the input to Throttle does allow the switch to change the throttle, but it conflicts with the actual throttle control.
I'm not sure if it's possible to do this without running into this error.
Hmm...
If I understand the question correctly, then I assume that simply setting the input to Throttle would do it.
I'm not able to test it at the moment however. If it doesn't work, then I'll test it a bit later and I'll see what I can do.
@caelanthekow I've had this issue several times.
I believe it's an issue with the server itself. Whenever the ping on the server is really high it tends to do that.
@AppyPappy I removed it. Also, I would recommend that you use the "Reply" button; otherwise, people won't get notified of your response.
I should also mention that the image was made using an online tool. It wasn't "hand made".
@temporaryplanetester I found that attribute a while ago, and yes it sadly does not work.
I suppose if it did work however, people would probably put cleverly positioned RickRoll links on their build. Imagine the horrors that would fill the MP chat log...
@HellFireKoder Ah, I've never been able to use that until after running the server.
So for other people to connect globally, they would simply use the global IP and it would work, or is there an extra step?
@Ancinder Download the server executable, and then run it. A window will pop up asking for network access. The server needs both Public and Private access, so be sure to check both. After that the server should work just fine.
To connect to your server, run the executable, and then find the area that says "Local IPs". The server IP that you're looking for should be the one that has "(LAN)" next to it. This is the IP for your local network. Note: I've only ever been able to use the LAN IP address. This is not the same for public servers, but I'm not sure how that's supposed to work, as I haven't been able to get it working so far. If the other user is not able to connect via your LAN, try having them connect to your global IP, which should be labeled by "UPnP Gateway:".

@FirstFish83828 It works now.
Also, I'm not sure about other upload sites. postimages is the only one I use.
When using postimages.org, you have to use the Direct Link and not the normal Link.
@FirstFish83828 Because it's designed to have a low RCS (and also because that's how I wanted it to look).
@FirstFish83828 Stealth helicopter.

@Ktarnii Would you rather be tagged on an unlisted post?
@Ktarnii Sure.
I'm a bit busy with a project at the moment, so it likely won't be posted until tomorrow.
@32 The wide carrier actually lagged the game severely (I believe FPS dropped below 1).
@Susyamngsu Short answer: no. I gave a longer explanation in the comments below, but essentially it simply wouldn't work.
@AppyPappy Yes.
@Dragoranos Are you suggesting that sailboats are not supposed to go Mach 6.7?
@AppyPappy I removed it. Also, I would recommend that you use the "Reply" button; otherwise, people won't get notified of your response.

@phrongus No.
@Novah I should also mention that the server program has to be running in order for the server to actually run.
@Novah For people to use your server, you have to give your global IP address. It should be labeled by UPnP Gateway in the server console.

@MrCOPTY No. I don't use other forms of social media (except for YT, but that's just for the SP website).
@AlivePan It's about the size of a 727 except for the fact that the fuselage is too narrow.
