  • Would a Full General Lee replica be welcomed on the site? 2.2 years ago

@LinusTouchTips Following what Husky said, I can almost 100% guarantee you that someone is going to have a fit in the comments section if they see a Confederate flag.
It's pretty risky in my opinion. Might be best not to, but that's just me.

    I'm sorry, "day build"?
This would quite literally take me weeks to accomplish...

  • Bogan x 2.2 years ago

    He left.

I've heard it was due to health reasons, but I'm not 100% sure.

  • Multiplayer problem 2.2 years ago

No, you're not banned. Everyone else is having the same problem.

61.82.248.222 was actually quite full last night. The amount of people partially depends on the time and day that you join.

  • I moved my SP server to the office and my server IP was changed. 2.2 years ago

@Rebirth Sorry to bother, but there's a user starting drama on 61.78.212.160 using racial/sexual slur, going by the name of Derp. The evidence will be around 1:10-1:25 UTC (assuming the chat log includes timestamps).

    Thank you in advance.

  • NASA AD-1 Oblique Wing Testbed 2.2 years ago

It's aviation gems like these that we don't see enough of on SP.com.
This, along with NASA lifting bodies and other X-Planes.
    Take my upvote.

  • How to add A Sub Assemby 2.2 years ago

Select a group of parts and drag it to the box in the top-left corner of your screen. A UI will appear asking you to name your sub-assembly.
Name your sub-assembly and save it.

  • AH-560 2.2 years ago

@simtangs Ah ok. That's technically not against the rules, but I would recommend trying to make greater changes to a build before posting a successor, as it can seem like a cheap copy or a post made to milk points.
Someone else might mistakenly report the build as a copy of the predecessor if there aren't many changes.

  • AH-560 2.2 years ago

What exactly did you do with this? The part counts are only different by 1.

  • Just a Question 2.2 years ago

There's no rule saying new players can't enter challenges. In fact, it can be a good way to introduce you and your builds to the SP community!

@Ismomr3 No one knows when a server will be up again.
You just have to wait for the server to either reboot or be fixed by the owner.

  • dont know what i should make 2.2 years ago

I think it'd be neat to try an autogyro. They're very neat aircraft that we don't see here very often.

If rotorcraft aren't your thing, then I'd use TheGliderGuy's suggestion. We don't see many good gliders very often.

  • Mod android 2.2 years ago

@Mohammad5336 As I said, from what I understand Google removed modding support for mobile devices.
You can only download a small variety of map mods, but that's it.

  • flanker - 1 2.2 years ago

  • Mod android 2.2 years ago

There's a few map mods for Android I think, but I don't have them.

Aside from that, you can't have mods on Android anymore due to Google removing mod support (or something on that order).

  • to much free time 2.2 years ago

  • to much free time 2.2 years ago

    @210100 Just buy it.
    It's not that expensive really.

  • flanker - 1 2.2 years ago

    Truly a moment.

  • SimplePlanes Multiplayer 2.2 years ago

    @formulaguy

    • Download the mod.
    • Open the mod.
    • Enable the mod.
    • Go to the designer and open the MP user interface.
    • Enter a username.
    • Enter a server IP address (if it doesn't let you, uncheck the "Localhost" box).
    • Press "Join".

The main server IP is 160.251.58.131. It's more active during certain times of the day than during others.

Please don't be a troll, and don't bring any high-part builds.

  • HeliRotor xmt input 2.2 years ago

Something the SC2 guide doesn't mention is the waterproof property that you can add to missiles to allow them to work underwater.

  • HeliRotor xmt input 2.2 years ago

    Yeah, most people know.

Also, the XML guide does mention maxRpm.
The large number thing wasn't included, but that's pretty obvious.

@TylerThomason2 In the rotator control input field.
I tested them both using rotators and they work just fine.

    @TylerThomason2 Then Activate2=-1 ? Pitch : 0 should work.
    Or Activate2=1 ? 0 : Pitch.

@TylerThomason2 Are you sure you put things in correctly?
Could you copy what you put in and comment it here?

    Try this.

  • How is this possible? 2.2 years ago

The pressure inside the airplane is roughly equal to the ambient air pressure at/near ground level, so pressure won't be a big liming factor.

Oncoming airflow is a different story (as well as which way the door opens).
But the airspeed during landing isn't nearly as high as it is during cruising, and it's an outward opening door (which will get blown open depending on the direction of airflow).

I'm not an expert on the topic. These are just my assumptions.

  • Boeing 727 stubby 2.2 years ago

I'm not trying to discourage you from posting, but these types of low-effort reposts are not okay.
Have some courtesy for the original author who spent days (if not weeks) making this by actually making it better.

  • Boeing 727 stubby 2.2 years ago

If you're going to make a successor of someone else's work, at least make some significant changes.

Please, try to put in some actual effort instead of trying to milk points off of someone else's work.
And no, removing 6 parts from someone else's build and doing nothing else is not a significant change.

@32 Nah, I plan to get my own 3D printer. There's some nice ones under $200USD I'm looking at currently.

  • I Got Bored 2.2 years ago

    @32 That's a great idea!
I've wanted to do something like that for a while now, but unfortunately I don't have a 3D printer (yet).

  • I Got Bored 2.2 years ago

@100 Now, I did the exporting and whatnot on PC. I don't really know if SP mobile has an export option.
If you can export it then it should work just fine.

  • I Got Bored 2.2 years ago

@100 It's online. No download required.
Should work just fine on mobile devices (it worked on mine).

  • What are those graphics mods all the popular builders use? 2.2 years ago

One of the best and most commonly used tools builders use is Reshade.
It's not exactly a mod, but a sort of application plugin.

Works best when used with a mod map and one of the cloud mods.
