@xXANDYXx What time zone? 5 pm is very relative.

  • BBC tigermoth 9.2 years ago

Looks good. We'll see how it races when the deadline is reached! If it's just our planes, then it'll just be a friendly 1v1 instead of a full-scale tourney.

  • Big Boy Challenge! 9.2 years ago

@xXANDYXx don't worry if your plane is hard to
build. It is a challenge after all!

  • Early Jet Fighters Championship Group stage results! 9.2 years ago

@deusalgor Then may I ask how to subassembly on iOS?

  • Early Jet Fighters Championship Group stage results! 9.2 years ago

@deusalgor Unfortunately I'm on iOS so I can't do any of that sub assembly stuff, so it's a successor to the first plane. Make sure you use the Mk. 2 upgrade

  • Big Boy Challenge! 9.2 years ago

@xXANDYXx Interesting take on my plane. It is modified enough I suppose to count as a new one. If I hadn't built it I wouldn't recognize it.

  • M1 Battle Tank (working tracks) 9.2 years ago

Hot damn... Spiritus, you put me to shame every time I see your builds... Ffs man.

  • Lockheed F-80 Shooting Nova Mk. II 9.2 years ago

@UnknownNate Thanks! This is an upgrade of the upgrade of the F-80 I built. More maneuverable, less self-destructive, more Nova... You get the point.

  • Lockheed F-80 Shooting Nova Mk. II 9.2 years ago

    @UnknownNate That was lightning fast.

  • Early Jet Fighters Championship Group stage results! 9.2 years ago

@deusalgor Then cool. Made a modified F-80 for this stage, which complies with tourney rules. Where do I upload/link it?

  • Early Jet Fighters Championship Group stage results! 9.2 years ago

What does the "Advanced" title on a plane mean?

  • What does your username mean? 9.2 years ago

The italics are unintentional. I guess underscores do that here?

  • What does your username mean? 9.2 years ago

According to some on one of my planes, I'm a copycat of TehDuck. My name actually came from watching Achievement Hunter/Rooster Teeth back before I got Live. I saw a user by the name of TheDarkDuck on a HORSE video of theirs and went: "I must become a duck. The new one."

  • Tilt Roter 9.2 years ago

    Almost forgot to upvote! XD

  • P-58 Needler 9.2 years ago

Thank you so much! Good luck in the tourney with this interesting design.

  • P-58 Needler 9.2 years ago

@Typhlosion130 I'm talking about the prop trick. I'm fairly new (relatively speaking), and have reached the intermediate fuselage stage in my (short-lived) career. I basically need to know the prop trick.

  • P-58 Needler 9.2 years ago

@Typhlosion130 The evasiveness is strong with this one.

  • P-58 Needler 9.2 years ago

Well thanks, but I wanted to know a technique of sorts? Anything is helpful. You'll see I'm fairly awful at the game considering my designs.

  • Teaser! 9.2 years ago

These kinds of posts make me realize I have no talent in this game! (It's marvelous.)

  • P-58 Needler 9.2 years ago

Hey, curious on how you clipped the props into the fuselage. Trying to build something using the clipping. Thanks!

  • P-80 Shooting Star 9.2 years ago

Yeah, my design looks how it does because I didn't want the end bits hanging down too far, so I just stuck em on the end.

  • P-80 Shooting Star 9.2 years ago

maybe it's because I feel the wings here being a bit skinny, but if your plane flies, then keep it how you want!

  • P-80 Shooting Star 9.2 years ago

I'll put the image I used here too. I had a different image than you maybe? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LockheedP-80ShootingStar#/media/File:P80-1300.jpg

  • P-80 Shooting Star 9.2 years ago

I'm here for friendly suggestions. A) guns. obvious. B) Larger/more intakes, black fire is bad. C) Larger/different shaped wings. It's slightly hard to fly, but is a decent design overall. Grade: B+ Keep it up.

  • Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star 9.2 years ago

Erm... I wouldn't talk big since you obviously just went and found the logo. Also, I have an image up of the plane, and I'd argue mine is more accurate, if not as "fancy".

  • Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star 9.2 years ago

Well I'm glad. I saw yours and saw a large difference. Don't accuse people of copying if it's not just a reupload of your plane. It gives us both a bad reputation. :)

  • Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star 9.2 years ago

Are you sure this is a copy? I had the idea of my favorite jet fighter from the era. Same choice. Different execution.

  • (Challenge!)Early Jet Fighters Championship!(Closed) 9.2 years ago

Hopefully my F-80 stands up to the challenge! Good luck!

  • Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey 9.2 years ago

I asked Aero if I could upload a modified combat variant of his "Tilt Roter" design. You literally just reuploaded his original design.

  • VS Scythe VTOL Prototype 9.3 years ago

    @salvador3031 here it is.

  • Typhoon Circuit 9.3 years ago

Also, what are the rules on missing a checkpoint?

  • Typhoon Circuit 9.3 years ago

Can't wait to toss my Mk. 18 into the races. The race variant follows every rule and looks beautiful. Let the games begin. When the next tourney starts.

  • Typhoon Circuit 9.3 years ago

How often will these tournaments take place?

  • The Mk. 18 9.3 years ago

@PlanesOfOld I just did the research and I didn't realize that. Interesting. If I try the replicas, they usually don't take off (hahaha.) as well as my freeform builds.

  • Osprey 9.3 years ago

It's been about a day since I uploaded this, and we've hit 345 downloads. Thanks, Aero. You helped me hit a milestone.

  • Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey 9.3 years ago

Huh. After using it I realize you essentially removed my modifications and have more or less plagiarized the original.

  • Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey 9.3 years ago

Dude. You literally just recolored my modification for the original. Give credit to both parties at least.

  • Osprey 9.3 years ago

Well I'm glad, but I really can't take any credit.

  • Osprey 9.3 years ago

    @Albertong27 Is this sarcasm? 🤔

  • Osprey 9.3 years ago

I think 174 downloads is the most I've ever gotten! Thanks guys! Also, go check out the original over at AeroEngineering's page.

  • A-10 Warthog Thunderbolt II 9.3 years ago

I see the issue with this design. Look at the mass and lift. Poor placement, decent design.

  • A-10 Thunderbolt II 9.3 years ago

No, go check out the Mk. 2. It's more accurate.

  • A-10 Thunderbolt II 9.3 years ago

    Wait

  • A-10 Thunderbolt II 9.3 years ago

It's as on the spot as the show by Rooster Teeth. Yours could use work, the wings are a wee bit too long.

  • A-10 Thunderbolt II 9.3 years ago

Also, go check out the Mk. 2. It flies better!

  • Tilt Roter 9.3 years ago

Amazing design. Made a modification that I'll upload if you give permission. Just simpler controls (the rotors are controlled with pitch), and has weapons. Also, this made for a great heli cockpit when modified!

  • A-10 Thunderbolt II 9.3 years ago

@MindcraftMojo I did, lol, and have no questions. Thanks for the offer though! :)

  • VS Scythe VTOL Prototype 9.3 years ago

Maybe it could have done what it did with @AndrewGarrison. Found my stuff.

  • VS Scythe VTOL Prototype 9.3 years ago

    @TehDuck maybe use google.
