@CarrotSlicingCat oh sorry, looks like I made an error linking the rules post. I manually typed it out rather than copying the link, so in this case I forgot part of it. Fixed now.
It's not necessarily the texture resolution that makes it look terrible (though that certainly plays a part in it), I think it's more the fact that the textures themselves just aren't good.
@Tetrodotoxin Yes, maybe that's true, but I'm inclined to believe it's simply symbolism in this case. We can't just remove someone's profile picture because someone thinks it's hate speech. Again, we spoke to the person the profile picture belongs to, and another person for good measure. Neither have any reason to lie about it.
@geek1love Through research, discussions amongst ourselves, and speaking with the involved party, we have determined that, while not unfounded, your assessment about this user's profile picture is incorrect. The user in question is from Russia, and the stuff in their profile picture is all Slavic symbology. We spoke to the user and they confirmed this, as well as the fact the text in the profile picture is also Slavic symbolism. A trusted Russian user we talked to gave us confirmation regarding that as well.
The outline of a man, with a look resembling a "skinhead" with a knife, is based on a photo of them and has nothing to do with neo-nazism, as far as we can tell.
In the future, if you have such concerns, please take them to a moderator in private, either by tagging one of us on an unlisted post, or, preferably, sending a direct message on Discord (you can find mine in my bio) instead of making a public forum post about it. As for the rest of the commenters here, I expect you all to conduct yourselves respectfully from here on out, as you have failed to do thus far.
@geek1love I've taken a look at the profile in question and, while it's certainly odd, I can't see anything that would violate the rules. That being said, I'm fairly uneducated on matters such as these, so if there's something I'm missing please explain it to me.
I will state for the record that this challenge is fine, however those who are submitting stuff to it please make sure your submissions adhere to the rules. That is, make sure that the submissions aren't just one or two parts, and they should be at least somewhat related to SimplePlanes. Meaning, no empty posts, no posts that are just labels, etc
Post removed. Even though it's for a challenge, a certain level of quality is expected from posts on this site. This has no relation to SimplePlanes, and does not meet that level of quality that is expected.
Just so everything's clear, this is in-fact an official account run by curators, as well as any moderators that happen to feel like contributing. The goal is to make a bunch of good non-VR crafts usable in VR.
I have removed this as well as two other posts because they violate our rules regarding post thumbnails. Please re-upload them with a thumbnail that depicts the craft as it appears in-game, rather than a screenshot from another game.
@YubukiShimada In that case, I have removed them as a contributor. I will also have a discussion with the other moderators on whether this mod itself is considered high effort enough to warrant a post on the mods page.
Before this inevitably turns into a cesspool of toxicity and I have to remove it, I'll go ahead and answer the question as best I can.
You see, it dates back to the Chinese Civil War, which began around 1927. It consisted of two parties: The Republic of China, which at the time had control over mainland China, and the Chinese Communist Party. This civil war lasted until 1949, with the CCP winning and taking control over mainland China. This forced the RoC to retreat to an island called Taiwan. After this, there was much debate over which of those two was the legitimate Chinese government, as both were claiming to be the real China. I think that is still somewhat of an issue in the modern day, but I'm not entirely sure. Anyway, nowadays the main issue is Taiwan's sovreignty, which most people in mainland China do not recognize, as to my knowledge they have been heavily pushing for a reunification instead.
This has been heavily simplified, both to keep it relatively short and so that I get less stuff wrong, but I hope this provides a bit of context.
It always bothered me a bit when people say stuff like this. What you've said covers a very wide range of genres and songs, and you haven't elaborated on what exactly you mean. I can say X old rock song is a better song than Y modern pop song, but that wouldn't be a good comparison at all because they're two completely different genres. There are good and bad songs from every time period. If you're not willing to look for the songs from the current era that you would actually like and only look at the stuff you don't like, then of course you're gonna think that old music is just somehow better by default.
Yes, that is not specifically the swastika used by the Third Reich; however the description of the craft indicates it was used in a way that contradicts that. Here's the relevant quote from the description:
Swastika: Represents loyalty to the Supreme Democracy Party (the longest ruling political party), Supreme Minister and Leftist Nazism (yeah I call it low key Nazism or Nazism with Krakabloan characteristics)
@X4JB Then you should re-read our rules, specifically the section about politics and religion. This applies to everyone. Fact or not, it was a very politically charged statement that served no purpose other than to provoke people that disagree with it.
Please do not report this post for having the flag of Taiwan. It is not against the rules, and reporting it for having said flag will result in a strike being added to your account.
@AWESOMENESS360 On the intro to the old Cartoon Network series you could briefly see a shock diamond while he's in level flight, so he's definitely capable of it. I'm assuming he just doesn't do it very much because it isn't practical at all

Given that the image to SP converter is available to everyone, I have removed this as it is low effort and off topic.

Don't post off-site drama here.

+9interview me
+4@V done. Sorry it took so long, I don't check the site all that often.
+1Post removed, you must be able to clearly see the craft in the thumbnail.
Removed. Post thumbnails should show enough of the craft for someone to know what it is. You may reupload this if you fix the thumbnail.
Removed. Please see this comment.
@X99STRIKER That's not how this works.
+1Removed for spam
Removed again. Please read our rules. Reuploading something that was just removed is not allowed here.
Saying stuff like that doesn't help your case either.

+4@weebabyseamus what're your thoughts on The Book of Boba Fett? excited for it?
+1@Sm10684 Weird. I'm not sure how to help you, it doesn't seem like something we can fix.
It looks like it's nothing within our control. You'll have to reset it through Gravatar.

+14@SheriffHackdogMCPE It was not the auto-mod, it was deliberately removed by a moderator.

+5It's possible that maybe people just like different things, and that they don't need your or anyone else's approval to do so. Just a thought.

@samuraj The only one that ever gets spam reported on this site.
+2Automod removed it. Sorry about that, it doesn't violate any rules, but people spam reported it because of a certain flag being present.
+5@AWESOMENESS360 Sorry for the late response, I haven't checked this site too often lately, but here's the video. Look at about 0:12
