I've been having the same problem (unable to download/upload/login, with message "verify internet connection and try again") since yesterday.
I'm on a Mac with Mac App Store version of the game.
No firewall or anything similar, just checked and craft download is working fine on Simple Rockets 2.

Is it possible to get the beta for people who bought the game on the Mac App Store?
In case not, can we get a Steam code to download the Steam version of the game (and have access to the beta that way)?
I'd really like to help you with the bug squashing (and have an early look at the new features as well)!

Btw, you suggest changing the FOV to 90* for FPV flight; may I ask how it's possible to do that? Is there a command in the dev console?
