@Delphinus In full disclosure, the iPod I built & tested this model with uses an A9X chip. Almost the same speed as my quad-core i7 desktop (which I use for business, not gaming.) My iPhone testing has too slow "fps" for controlled flight at 50,000 mph, but once the thrusters are on the model still exceeds 5 million feet. My Android platform testing is about the same as the iPhone's. In sum, this post is meant to push Jundroo physics to the limit; yet that can only be done on fairly fast platforms.
Since more downloads of this item are occurring than I can track on a simple mobile, I guess I need to build a faster model. @PlanesAndThings @Himynameiswalrus @Jacobhardy64 @Delphinus @Steadfastcontracting @SUPERSAMROCK @Frant24
@Delphinus Agree, above 100,000 feet the thrusters overpower any flight control. That's another SP SIM benchmark, in altitude. If you surpass it you'll be on thrust alone. Little control and goodbye Earth.
@Delphinus Observation: current SP flight "physics" have a gap in aero performance between 41,000 - 49,000 feet. Dive from above, pull up quickly and maybe your 26,000 model's could double the speed.
Good by me. This one is usefull to the SP community since it allows easy water touchdowns at any water point. This allows you to "set" that point as a new launch location.
Models I build on my iPad "disappear", so I posted this WIP so I can locate it on the SP website. iOS 9.3 will not save any file names of personal builds or downloaded builds. iOS is a low-priority, apparently, with Jundroo. Maybe no one in the world uses iPhones or iPads?? Wow, I didn't know that the planet had gone Android! @Nickasaurus
Seems my Amazon kindle android & iOS devices will never support the concept of XML file modding. Without "awesome modding" of my own builds, seems I get very few votes on anything I post. @Nickasaurus
Thx, are you on a brand-new iPad iOS 9.3? Because that seems to be the technical difference. (My old iPad I gave to my nephew about 6 months ago.) The prior iPad saved builds+subassemblies that I needed. There is something quirky going on between what I download from the SP site and when I save a download of my own builds, the "Save" file-name disappears. @Kimo
Thx. Agree the Kindle GUI and Apple GUI have limits and the best precision "used to be" via my iOS or OSX. Appears Apple is at the back of the bus re: SP compatibility. IMHO. @SteadfastContracting
Yeah, frustrating. Several un-posted builds are on the iPad, but even if I posted them, their titles would disappear when I attempted a download. Apple SW has released at least 3 updates on iPad iOS SW since I was able to "see" what I saved. A. Garrison has been messaged via reddit, with full details. Thx for the concern! @TheLatentImage
BTW @kikasshes I frequently test un-modded+modded versions of the same build. On a recent post, if normal flight at 20,000 feet is performed, the model tops 500 MPH, barely. But, if you ACT=1 the mods kick in: 3,400+ MPH at 20,000 feet.

Thx, that one looked better; another "100% stock everything" was not entered, it's 1,620+ MPH level, but looks ugly

@kikasshes
Ship works fine!
At last, a decent ME262. Funky joystick!
OK, will test this one. In the meantime, I'll post you an unsolicited modded V T O L thingy.

@Frant24 I appreciate your testing of a complex model, thank you for an upvote.
@Delphinus Not annoyed.
@SpiritusRaptor Consider "grain of salt" when I comment on Andrew Garrison's April 1 posts!
@NIGHTWING1 dunno you must have a better clue than me.
@SpiritusRaptor Apple OSX/iOS users appreciate that you've got @AndrewGarrison #. Up to you, sometimes, to iron-out the occasional glitch.

@Nickasaurus OK. Hangouts are a bit noisy, sometimes. I'll check back in. No point in using SP website bandwidth. Except, for specific posts.

@Nickasaurus Yes, happy April Fools day to you, too. See Andrewgarrison's post.
Thanks, @SUPERSAMROCK
Thanks, @Steadfastcontracting
Thank you, @Himynameiswalrus
Thank you, @PlanesAndThings
Thank you, @JacobHardy64
Thx, this was fun to build! @Delphinus
I must have been in Europe with my iPhone turned off when this egregious point-rigging by SP Devs occurred.

Thanks @flyingsteve88 This is WIP, had to file transfer. Due to strange loss of data on my iOS iPad -- had to post or the data is lost.

Great Britain model! In the SP SIM-city world it sorta flys like a fast locomotive. Great build!
Thanks, since I can fly this model easily on an Apple product, but with great difficulty on android Kindle, @flyingsteve @Kimo @NumNumz
Thx, @Delphinus
Transformer contest? Yes, you could do it!
Great weapons launch platform, maybe could do do good air-ground also.
Same here. Good to know. @SteadfastContracting

Most likely Apple SW, not Jundroo's, in my humble opinion (IMHO). @SteadfastContracting @Andrewgarrison

Thx for the vote! -- SP does not allow "SAVING" builds that I create on iOS 9.3 @SteadfastContracting
Yes, SP does not allow "SAVING" builds that I create on iOS 9.3 - I have messaged @Andrewgarrison twice about this. @Nickasaurus
