There seems to be a problem with the dogfighting. The cannon rounds just phase through any enemy planes. In order to fix this, you may need to have the piece containing the cannons to be hollow and paneled to save room for the cannon, and aircraft collisions need to be enabled so that the cannons can actually impact the target.
Pretty sure it has to do something with an overpowering vertical maneuverability and a crap ton of wing surface to make the aircraft work basically as a giant airbrake.
