@harveyrobinson8 Back when I was building them manually, I used simple numerical sequences to design the curves. See my comments here for a description.
@AdrianFlyingAce Are you aware that I have posted many, many planes with railguns (BombCannons that fire really fast in a straight line) and BombCannons (that fire slower bombs that travel in an arc)? Look for my post Railgun - 4 versions and BombCannon. I don't see the point of 50 rounds, there aren't that many targets in the sandbox.
@BaconRoll Yes, the website is a bit flaky, perhaps you could try unfollowing me then following again?
It feels good to get upvotes and level ups, but that's not the reason I'm doing it. I just really like building airplanes. Points on a website -- any website -- are pretty meaningless in the real world, aren't they?
Thanks, @harveyrobinson8. Remember that it's not the time you spend on a build, or the number of parts, but the end result that counts. And don't let negative feedback get you down. Consider it carefully to see if it's valid, then move on.
Nice, but considering you're limited to only one engine, the fuselage blocks over the wings slow your plane down because of the extra drag. If modding engines is permitted you can compensate by increasing the power.
@FGW2014 To scale the tracers/bullets, all you need to do is scale the gun. Scaling is proportionate along the three axes, so if you scale the gun by 4,4,1, the tracers will be 4x as wide and tall, and 1x long. For some reason though, if you make the x- and y-scale too much bigger than the z-scale (more than about 4.7,4.7,1) the gun explodes. You can always scale it up by 10,10,10 or so, of course.
@dootdootbananabus It is good... but thanks.
Thanks, @MAHADI
@Treadmill103 Precisely, Robin!

@dootdootbananabus I don't only upvote things that are 'my style' - if it's original and/or flies well it gets an upvote from me.
Very cool.
Thanks, @EpicPigster1
@harveyrobinson8 I'd have to think about it. I can do a modern hull, no problem, but 18th century hulls are more complex.
@AdrianFlyingAce So use EternalDarkness's version. Problem solved.

@AdrianFlyingAce Like that in what respect?
@LiamW OK, I'll see what I can come up with.
@LiamW Don't bet on it
Thanks, @Treadmill103
Thank you, @phanps
@destroyerP Yes, I'm not happy with the part count. Next time I'll try to keep it under 500.
@OverlordAeronautics2 I intended for it to be a jet, but then realised that the jet exhaust would hit the tailplanes.
@OverlordAeronautics2 About 400.
@AdrianFlyingAce " so when you launch the boom 25 it shoots it" - isn't that exactly what this is doing?
As for more ammo, you can add as many bombs as you like, but then if you crash, the game crashes.
For me, it takes off from a runway just fine, but yaws randomly from side to side (inevitable when you don't have vertical stabilizers).
@BaconRoll fo sho
@TMR9001 You mean a seagoing warship?
@BaconRoll Well, that makes sense - my thinking and my planes come from the same source...

@dootdootbananabus Also correct, comrade.
@sexylips35 I just thought it was a good name for a bomber.
Thanks, @Treadmill103
@Irobert55 Correct, comrade.
@BaconRoll No idea. Ask the developers, perhaps?
@harveyrobinson8 I will upload a tutorial on that some time soon. If you will upload your plane unlisted, I can take a look and tell you what's wrong.
Thanks, @harveyrobinson8. Remember that it's not the time you spend on a build, or the number of parts, but the end result that counts. And don't let negative feedback get you down. Consider it carefully to see if it's valid, then move on.
@OverlordAeronautics2 Sorry, just don't have the time these days.
@WNP78 Thanks anyway, it's the thought that counts...
Nice.
@EternalDarkness That's ok, I just like exploring designs, abstract ones as well as more conventional ones. I'll make my scripts public soon.
@BogdanX @EternalDarkness I thought you guys might like this one.
Thanks, @RMark1
Thanks, @WalrusAircraft. I'm going to release the scripts soon, don't worry.
@FGW2014 I'll upload a tutorial on that sometime soon.
Nice work.
Oh hello @FGW2014

Thanks, @harveyrobinson8, I'm glad you like my work.
Thanks, @vincentwwwwww
@BaconEggs Thanks, I might do that.
Thanks, @FlyingThings
Thanks, @Treadmill103

@SlowJet Ah I see.
@dootdootbananabus Kids these days... that's the origin of the "X confirmed" meme.
