@FlyingThings Allow? I'm not sure what you mean - no one can (or should) stop anyone else from building in whatever style they want. To me, the whole point of uploading builds is so everyone can learn from what others are doing.
So yes, feel free to build in this style, and to take parts or entire subassemblies from my builds.
@Leonelarminrocks7 Better to have instructions that are too explicit than ones that are incomplete. It's not inconceivable that someone might assume the cannon is fired using activation groups.
@FlyingThings It, uhh, represents the evolution of me as an artist from the smooth, untroubled naivete of youth to the weather-beaten, experience-toughened harshness of maturity. /joke
@BaconRoll @Rodrigo110 Thanks for the clarification. Based on the number of times I have seen references misunderstood on this site, perhaps we should explicitly tag references, like some people use /s for satire/sarcasm.
This happens because the SP designer doesn't snap things to a grid very well (or perhaps at all). When you have a part at the center, it's X-coordinate usually isn't exactly 0, but something like 0.000112352345. When you mirror a plane with parts like this, it creates a copy of those parts that's slightly off-center in the other direction, i.e., with X = -0.000112342345. When you mirror the plane again, both parts get mirrored, giving you four parts. Mirror again: 8 parts, then 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 and so on.
This would be very easy to fix (probably a few minutes' worth of work). When positioning parts (either by the user or by the game, as in a mirroring operation), just set any value that's less than 0.0001 to 0.
@Sauce What you're describing is a plane-making AI - good to have, but that's not what I have. I just have better tools. While you put planes together piece by piece, I use math to generate the entire shape in one go. But it's still me designing the shape.
@jollyJoey Sure, do you mean the shape, or the colors? If the colors, then just use this plane as a starting point. You'll see the colors in the 'Custom' palette.
@Stingray If you mean what are you missing on this plane, disabling AG8 will put it into slow-pitch mode. This is useful for precise aiming when playing with a keyboard.
@Stingray That's left on by default for anything you need to have enabled on level start, like gyroscopes, RCNs, the fast-pitch mode on this plane, etc.
@hopotumon You don't have to thank me for upvotes, if I upvote your plane it's because you deserve it. All the thanks and NPs just add noise, don't you think?
@FGW2014 Ah, 15 million points, that should make me platinum a few times over...
@WEAPONSMITH I guess. But why are we talking about the image when we have a frickin' floating cannon that shoots 9 frickin' bombs in one go?
@KSPFSXandSP What can I say, SP is addictive...
@KSPFSXandSP I suppose it's a time zone thing with the website. Torvus and Malus are both over a day old in my /posts view.
@KSPFSXandSP How do you count five? Colossus and Spread-shot hovercannon are all I have for today.
@WEAPONSMITH It's fun isn't it? Though now that I look at the image I used, it looks like a loudspeaker.
Screenshots
@ThePlaneBuilder1775 A little math, a little scripting...
@FlyingThings Look forward to seeing what you come up with.
@Kerbango If you crash this plane, 60 bombs going off would probably cause a 10.6 magnitude quake in the SP sandbox.

@WEAPONSMITH haa?
@BaconRoll In truth
@BaconRoll Verily
@BaconRoll Indeed
@BaconRoll Yes, isn't it

@BaconRoll Am keeping, am keeping.
@FlyingThings Thanks
Thanks, @FGW2014 @MAHADI
@BaconRoll I can see the resemblance.
@xplane10 What: it's a fictional alien aircraft. How: fuselage sections turned sideways, with precise values for offset, run, and rise.
@FGW2014 Pretty cool, isn't it?
Thank you, @ThomasRoderick
@FlyingThings Indeed. Hundreds of years from now digital archaeologists will be trying to decode the messages hidden in my builds. /joke
@FlyingThings It, uhh, represents the evolution of me as an artist from the smooth, untroubled naivete of youth to the weather-beaten, experience-toughened harshness of maturity. /joke
Good build, would look even more impressive with a metallic finish instead of flat grey.
@BaconRoll @Rodrigo110 Thanks for the clarification. Based on the number of times I have seen references misunderstood on this site, perhaps we should explicitly tag references, like some people use /s for satire/sarcasm.
@BaconRoll It's all good... I hate it when perfectly good words are hijacked.

@BaconRoll What does it look like to you? Put 'Severus' into Google Translate and set Latin as the language, see what you get.
@LiamW Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan
@phanps Duuuuuuuuude
@djzero72 It's a quote from the movie.
@AstonMartin145 She's one of my favourites. Raven IV is pretty good too, she's the angular cousin of this curvy girl.
@jollyJoey Sure, go for it
"You must think in Russian."
If you want another 3-engine plane to work with, you can use my Raptor. Or any other plane of mine you want, for that matter.
@BaconRoll Now if only I could add sound effects, muzzle flash effects, etc...

@Johnnyboy9 Good to know
@Maxwell1 It's the rift from which your non-inertial nightmares come flying out.

@hopotumon Not really, check out Gladius,
HoverCannon II, and
Hover Cannon.
Screenshots.
@FGW2014 It's quite simple, but the color gradient is nice, as well as the gentle curve of the series of wings.
By mixtape, you mean mix drive, right? @BaconRoll
