AMC ACn-01 8" (203mm) Cannon - Boom25

106k hpgbproductions  6.7 years ago

--- Battleship-territory gun, for those installations that need a bit more protection. ---

The ACn-01 is a 8" (203mm) single turret system based on the same platform as the R/M-19 missile launcher. It is built in a similar style as the 155mm cannon used on the R/M-280 weapon carrier.

It is typically used as a coastal defense system. The gun has the same firepower as a typical battleship gun, meaning that it is able to effectively damage enemy warships.

A common strategy is to line many of such units facing an open area. Against MBTs, the shell is usually a one shot, one kill for a direct impact. The splash damage can destroy many lightly armored targets packed close to each other.

Due to its big size, it cannot be mounted on Weapon Carrier trucks without violating certain road restrictions.

Good build, would look even more impressive with a metallic finish instead of flat grey.
