    @RABpilot2016 google drive and imgur are both pretty convenient

  • BAe Taranis 9.6 years ago

    @goboygo1 heh, thanks

  • New airplane ideas 9.6 years ago

    @RABpilot2016 yeah, just upload the drawing anywhere that you can link to it. You can replace the link with any other link you want. Just be sure to include the "http://" or "https://", simpleplanes.com is a bit funny about that

  • ETP-2045 ''Skua'' Fighter 9.6 years ago

    Aww I'm flattered hahaha. It's really agile but needs a very delicate hand to avoid crashing out. I like the 60s third-generation fighter sorta look you gave it.

    So, to link your build of my drawing, I would do this:

    [RABpilot's Skua fighter](https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/5ObYdE/ETP-2045-Skua-Fighter)

    Which would turn out like this: RABpilot's Skua fighter

  • New airplane ideas 9.6 years ago

    @RABpilot2016 awesome, I'll try it out!

  • A screenshot of my latest build, since the beta won't let me upload it 9.6 years ago

    @AgDynamics ahh okay, well that's pretty solid reasoning haha

  • A screenshot of my latest build, since the beta won't let me upload it 9.6 years ago

    @AgDynamics also, I've never thought to ask this before, but is your name anything to do with AG-Systems from Wipeout?

  • A screenshot of my latest build, since the beta won't let me upload it 9.6 years ago

    @AgDynamics I think the only real solution here is to incorporate the new features in your exploded build

  • ok whut 9.6 years ago

    @icecoldlava @XVIindustries alright so I looked at the actual paper found here (woohoo for free access to papers with my uni). Basically it says that people who have a better swearing vocabulary typically have a better vocabulary in general, but the swearing that showed this was swearing used as expressions of intense emotion, and also general insults, rather than as slurs like race- or gender-based swearing. It also found that swearing generally indicated a less agreeable but more open person.

  • New airplane ideas 9.6 years ago

    @TheDerpyDude I actually struggle with that, I can usually make use of up to 500lbs or so, but beyond that it just seems to mess up my handling even if the CoM and CoL look alright. I should probably experiment with it more, but usually I just find another way

  • New airplane ideas 9.6 years ago

    @TheDerpyDude ha, cheers man. I used to be alright at drawing but I'm kinda out of practice now, CAD modelling has somewhat taken over for me. It's alright if he doesn't build it, I don't know if it would work haha

  • ok whut 9.6 years ago

    @icecoldlava my bad, for some reason I only remembered the Russian part. Was it in a tabloid?

  • New airplane ideas 9.6 years ago

    @RABpilot2016 Sweet!

  • ok whut 9.6 years ago

    @XVIindustries he's Russian so probably not the Sun, but otherwise you're absolutely spot on hahaha

  • BAe Taranis 9.6 years ago

    @mixhaelr @Spikerya @Dynimerous @hadesrocksz thanks for all your votes!

  • New airplane ideas 9.6 years ago

    Alright I'm pretty drunk so I can't draw very well just now but I sketched up an idea really quickly for you. No worries if you don't like it

  • ok whut 9.6 years ago

    It's alright, it doesn't mean each individual person is more or less intelligent based on whether or not they swear. I live in a place where swearing is involved in pretty much every sentence, it doesn't make us all a bunch of geniuses.

  • Congratz 9.6 years ago

    He (or she) posted a comment a couple of days ago saying he was still about, he just doesn't have time to build any more. Awesome replicas on his page though, anyone not familiar should check them out

  • Omg the new update 9.6 years ago

    @AgDynamics yeah, hopefully that is the case

  • Omg the new update 9.6 years ago

    @Elite8855 I did, but I was already on the beta. This guy must have been as well to have access to it already, so it's kinda disappointing that he leaked it

  • Omg the new update 9.6 years ago

    Well I guess that's that well and truly leaked

  • I have joined the dark side 9.6 years ago

    Congratulations, and thanks for making so many great builds!

  • Issue with uploading non-beta planes from the beta version 9.6 years ago

    @AeroEngineering the only old version I have is on my phone, which makes for much lower-quality images. Good shout though, thanks

  • We need Downvotes for forums 9.6 years ago

    @Lucky13 of course not, just because I disagree doesn't make the discussion invalid

  • Issue with uploading non-beta planes from the beta version 9.6 years ago

    @RocketLL I take it you didn't manage to find a way around it? I'm pretty stuck

  • General360 9.6 years ago

    @Griffith right, I'm not sure how it works then, sorry

  • General360 9.6 years ago

    @Griffith do you have Steam?

  • General360 9.6 years ago

    @Griffith have patience, it's only three days away!

  • What do you think of me? 9.6 years ago

    @Krathar the new beta is a lot of fun, my only problem is that I'm getting impatient wanting to post stuff from it haha.

  • What do you think of me? 9.6 years ago

    You seem like a decent person and your builds seem to be doing pretty well, so I'd say you're doing alright. As for improvements, I'd say look in to XML editing if you haven't already. Hypnoplanes look great when you edit the colours for an extra glossy finish

  • We need Downvotes for forums 9.6 years ago

    @Nickasaurus I'd rather not hahaha

  • We need Downvotes for forums 9.6 years ago

    @Lucky13 there's already so much drama from people not getting upvotes. Just imagine the drama of people getting downvotes. We'd have to start handing out Oscars.

  • We need Downvotes for forums 9.6 years ago

    Honestly you're best to just ignore them. Downvoting on a site like this would only cause unneeded drama

  • PLEASE HELP 9.6 years ago

    @Jetspeed1001 what did you do to them? I've never tried mirroring rotators that are limited like this, so that might react weirdly. If that's the case, just keep building, and I'll fix it at the end

  • PLEASE HELP 9.6 years ago

    @Jetspeed1001 here you go. The orange one only goes down, the blue one only goes up.

  • PLEASE HELP 9.6 years ago

    What do you want for the speed and range of rotation?

  • Rotator 9.6 years ago

    What are you powering it with?

  • SimplePlanes Photo Showcase Website!!! 9.6 years ago

    Since we have replicas of so many planes now, this might just end up like an encyclopædia of aircraft. Two things that might be able to counter that:

    • include fictional creations if the creator writes a backstory for it. This would probably need a lot of curation, though.

    • Include links to the pages of the replicas, along with a couple of basic things about each replica. Even if it was just the number of upvotes and an image, that would be miles better than the current search function.

    But yeah I think there is potential in the idea!

  • A6M2 Mk.3 9.6 years ago

    @Stampede @DeezDucks the wings were pretty big on the original too, I kept the fuselage sections fairly tight to them. Nothing wrong with that if that's how you like to build things though!

  • updates 9.6 years ago

    I'm not totally sure if I understood you properly, so sorry if I got it wrong, but here is a fixed version

  • Sirius 9.6 years ago

    Gorgeous design, and it looks even better with the control surfaces in action. Flies perfectly too

  • Wing Thickness 9.6 years ago

    @Stampede here you go. Ignore the message about needing the beta, it doesn't, I only added fuselage sections

  • BAe Taranis 9.6 years ago

    @Wildblueyonder578 I'm glad you like it so much!

  • Sonic boom. 9.6 years ago

    @lordigi you need to get a few points before you're allowed to upvote things, but otherwise you don't need them, they're just a nice way to see how popular your planes are

  • What is in the reflection of my plane?! 9.6 years ago

    Upload it to imgur or google drive or something, then link it here

  • Wing Thickness 9.6 years ago

    @Stampede you'll get used to it! Most of the time you can cover each wing section with just one or two pieces of fuselage. I can do it to one of your planes as a demo, if you want?
