@GINGER01 nice! Yeah it's alright, all this helps me as well, because now I know what to watch for next time I upload an android one, so thanks for being patient yourself. I'm glad it's all working now
@GINGER01 it should be exactly the same as that, so I really don't know what's causing the problem :/ the only other suggestion I've got is to try either using another browser, or renaming the file to Air Pollution.spmod-android anyway and see if it works. Apparently this is a common issue with the Chrome android browser, is that what you're using?
@GINGER01 okay it sounds like Office is the problem here. Have you got another file explorer on your device? If not, this one is free, and shouldn't have the same issue.
@GINGER01 okay, try this alternate download. If you get something like Air%20Pollution.spmod-android, that's fine, just rename it to Air Pollution.spmod-android and you should be good to go. If you get a .bin again, try updating your device software, that's what fixed it for dsr1aviation up above
@Cedy117 inline images only work with image URLs, but what you've got there is a link to a gallery. You can do the two of them separately, though, like this:
Four missiles shouldn't be causing quite that much of an issue... but what might help is putting the missiles inside the fuselage. It can take some experimenting to find a location that works without destroying the plane, but it should negate any drag
@TheTMac I wouldn't set a hard limit. I upload stuff pretty rarely because I spend a long time on builds - the replicas can be 6-8 hours of work - but that doesn't need to be the case for everyone. Just make sure that each plane is as good as you know how to make it, and try to learn something new each time.
@AnarchistAerospaceIndustries they usually ask for beta testers as and when they're needed - for example, the v1.3 update had beta testers for each platform.
Mostly to prevent spam, and also to avoid people new to the site flooding the new page with everything they ever made. It's alright, just upload them when the limit lets you. That way you can still upload stuff on the days that you don't build so much.
@NotAirbus what's up? I don't think there's much I can contribute here, other than that I would like to see some kind of option for non-plane dogfights.
@JetstreamAeroEngineering yeah man I meant those should go to the best silver-or-below as well. Golds and platinums will be fine with bragging rights, I imagine haha
@swat132 do you reckon you could get us started on a 1:1 scale? I don't mind if you'd prefer me to start. For whichever one of us it is, there's a 3-view here which I can add dimensions to
@dsr1aviation I'm busy this weekend, do you think you would be able to get it started? I don't mind doing it tomorrow night if you're not sure how you wanna go about it. Alternatively, @swat132 seems to have a good bit of practice with large-scale builds
Nah man it's just the website playing up, remember that Jundroo is only a small team dealing with many thousands of planes and players. The mods normally explain bans
Basically, yes, there is a software limit. The game applies a force to slow the plane when it gets near mach 1. This can be overcome with sufficient power, but you'll need a lot
You can do one! The modding wiki can show you the (free) tools you need (only Unity, really), and the tutorial on YouTube is still valid so far as I know.
@JovianPat hovering would be difficult, but that's half the fun, isn't it? As for the "heavy" one, you might not actually need to make it all that heavy, just bulk it out with fuselages so that it looks heavy. To be honest, though nearly anything can be made to fly in this game hahaha
Gotta buy both, I'm afraid
@Flightsonic yes
@AnarchistAerospaceIndustries it's in the zip along with an image
@GINGER01 nice! Yeah it's alright, all this helps me as well, because now I know what to watch for next time I upload an android one, so thanks for being patient yourself. I'm glad it's all working now
Fairchild FX. It was a rival concept to the F-15
Oh hang on, @Mod had this happen during the beta. I dunno if a solution was ever found
@GINGER01 yeah man, I mean change that too. Delete the whole name, including the extension, and replace it with Air Pollution.spmod-android
@GINGER01 try renaming it to the right name, then, it's worth a shot
@GINGER01 it should be exactly the same as that, so I really don't know what's causing the problem :/ the only other suggestion I've got is to try either using another browser, or renaming the file to Air Pollution.spmod-android anyway and see if it works. Apparently this is a common issue with the Chrome android browser, is that what you're using?
@GINGER01 what are you using to download the file in the first place? Just your browser?
@GINGER01 okay it sounds like Office is the problem here. Have you got another file explorer on your device? If not, this one is free, and shouldn't have the same issue.
@GINGER01 wait what? Office shouldn't be involved in this at any point, what are you using it for?
@Dipper use this format:
So in this case:
Also I can help with Android builds if you want
@GINGER01 okay, try this alternate download. If you get something like Air%20Pollution.spmod-android, that's fine, just rename it to Air Pollution.spmod-android and you should be good to go. If you get a .bin again, try updating your device software, that's what fixed it for dsr1aviation up above
@Cedy117 sweet, getting hyped :D
@Cedy117 done. It looks fantastic, will we get to try it soon?
Oh also those will work in the body of a forum post if you wanna stick them there
@Cedy117 inline images only work with image URLs, but what you've got there is a link to a gallery. You can do the two of them separately, though, like this:

removed since they're in the post now

@Cedy117 Dead link :(
@bobthetitan needs to be an image URL, that was just a google images one. If you click view images, you get http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/2/22/TIEdefender_negvv.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20110701073721, which is the one you need.

+2@NotAirbus oh okay, thanks!

Drag can't be changed in the XML, sadly, it gets recalculated every time you load up
Mostly to prevent spam, and also to avoid people new to the site flooding the new page with everything they ever made. It's alright, just upload them when the limit lets you. That way you can still upload stuff on the days that you don't build so much.
@ronyseptian17 it needs to be a link to just the image and nothing else. The link you needed was http://i.imgur.com/4off4gmh.jpg, which would show us
@GINGER01 that's definitely not right. You definitely just clicked the "download" button in the middle of the page, right?
@NotAirbus what's up? I don't think there's much I can contribute here, other than that I would like to see some kind of option for non-plane dogfights.
@MediocrePlanes it's alright, I saw it! I'm just out at the rugby just now, so I can't test. It looks good, though
@JetstreamAeroEngineering yeah man I meant those should go to the best silver-or-below as well. Golds and platinums will be fine with bragging rights, I imagine haha

@Brields95 it's the value for "max" that you want to edit
@bullman518 cool, I'm glad it's working
Maybe points and features should go to the best performance from a silver-or-below entry? Not much point in featuring someone already popular
@Brields95 yo. What's the problem? So far as I'm aware you can't change weight or fuel consumption in the XML, but modded fuel tanks can fix those
@bullman518 where have you put them? And do the names have % in them?
@MediocrePlanes tag me and I'll look!
@MediocrePlanes d'awww you're too kind
@MediocrePlanes cool, glad it got sorted
Smoke trails! If you need troubleshooting, search for the forum post about it on my profile
@AviownCorp no worries! I'll check the plane out when I can
@MediocrePlanes I won't be able to play SP much this weekend, but I can offer advice or help on Sunday night if that works for you
Nah man it's just the website playing up, remember that Jundroo is only a small team dealing with many thousands of planes and players. The mods normally explain bans
Triebflügel is pronounced treeb-flew-gell with the last syllable being shortened a bit
@AviownCorp start the line with four spaces
Basically, yes, there is a software limit. The game applies a force to slow the plane when it gets near mach 1. This can be overcome with sufficient power, but you'll need a lot
