@CC1010
It’s more of a personal challenge for myself to see how big I can make it while still allowing for people to use it and avoid making it into a toothpick with wings.
@BeastHunter
Thanks, when I generally see a giant bomber on the website, it's usually a toothpick with wings, or a replica of something from real life or in pop culture, so that's why I'm setting out to build my own giant bomber.
@BeastHunter
Thanks, though the process of trying to make 3 planes that are similar, but not the same, over the process of several months was very annoying and frustrating.
Looks pretty good so far. This may seem a little hypocritical of me since I don’t do replicas, but the main wings look a bit too small in proportion to the rest of the plane, but that may just be how the photo was taken.
@Sergio666
Thanks, I really appreciate it. It does sometimes get very annoying how I can spend a long time on a plane and then have no one notice it. As long as I think the planes I post are of quality, I won’t care too much about points as I’ve learned that complaining about the point system doesn’t really help at all.
@BeastHunter
Considering that the doctor told the guy to suck venom out, I think we can throw realism out the window, it’s purely meant to be a form of dark humor.
@tsampoy
Sorry for misinterpreting, I do also feel that this is unfair, and does look suspiciously like point farming, but I’m not going to go out of my way to harass the guy in the comments.
It’s unusual, yes, and definitely makes me a little mad, I don’t see how complaining about it is going to help at all. Complaining about someone else’s upvotes won’t help to increase your own.
Two people are walking in the desert, one gets bit in the butt by a rattlesnake. The friend leaves to go find a doctor, to which the doctor says he has to suck the venom out. The friend returns to his injured comrade on the ground. The comrade asks “what did he say” and the friend answers “doctor says you’re gonna die.”
@Blaze15
Explain? the appearance was merely coincidental as I wanted to make an airplane that was nimble, but had to be a low part count. I found that basing it off of American fighters gave a lower part count, but the performance was weak, so I then based it off Russian fighters which significantly boosted its performance, though it ended up gaining a few parts.
It also depends on how thick the fuselage wings are, if they’re too thick, the planes probably won’t fly. For example, you can’t have fuselage wings with a thickness of 2 on a fighter jet that’s only 50-60 feet long, proportions are important.
@IceCraftGaming
+1Thanks, glad you like it.
First
In all seriousness though, this is a better replica than anything I would've made.
+1@BeastHunter
+1Thank You!
If you look closely, you'll see that I lengthened the nose and changed the color up a bit to a darker shade.
+1@CheetoPumkinEater1
Thanks, and best of luck to you, hopefully you reach silver soon.

Ya like Jazz?
Please don't kill me over this.
Well, the point of my plane was to be able to land it in carrriers easily, so mission accomplished.

@CC1010
In that case, Disqualified!
@CC1010
Show me
I also didn't realize how big the cockpit module was until I looked at the dimensions, looks like it will be bigger than even I thought it would.
@BeastHunter

@BeastHunter
+1Thanks, I don't expect upvotes on WIP's.
@Griffon1
+1I will say its look has a certain appeal to it.
Looks cool. Quick question though, how durable are you going to make this bomber as it wasn’t known for being able to take a lot of damage.
+1Here you go.
@BeastHunter
+1It’s ok, you still have some pretty good builds.
Wow, this is like a better looking B-52, this is really cool!
+1@BeastHunter
+1Thanks, though the process of trying to make 3 planes that are similar, but not the same, over the process of several months was very annoying and frustrating.
If you’re looking for the one variant I actually finished here it is.
Come on people, upvote this thing!
+2Ah yes, the homeless, green teletuby.
I’m guessing he got banned for point farming or something?
@ImNotFunny
OOF
@Sergio666
+1It’s probably the perspective of the photo, the wing shape overall looks right.
Looks pretty good so far. This may seem a little hypocritical of me since I don’t do replicas, but the main wings look a bit too small in proportion to the rest of the plane, but that may just be how the photo was taken.
@JuanNotAnAlt
😒 seriously
@BeastHunter
+1In that case they’re screwed, because the doctor doesn’t seem to be particularly helpful.
@JuanNotAnAlt
Please don’t mention that kind of stuff.
@xNotDumb
Thanks, I’m really glad you enjoyed this plane.
@Sergio666
+1I very much look forward to a collaboration or a little competition, see you then.
@Sergio666

@BeastHunter
+1Well, the people in this story are stupid, so they don’t know about a tourniquet.

@Sergio666
+1Thanks for the upvote, wish I could've gotten this plane out sooner.
Wait, does this mean I don't have to do nearly as much painful paneling, YES!
Ooh, another post
He just posted again

+4Honestly, any of the SimplePlanes “drama” is mostly bull crap anyway. You did a good job, so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
+11Yooooo, this looks sick!
@rexzion
I think that’s the point, it’s a joke.
@Blaze15
It's fictional, so technically it's neither, but I guess it's a Sukhoi.
The front inlet reminds me of the X-32, except this plane isn’t nearly as ugly.

Here is the aircraft I was talking about, it can technically fly, but I think a fly-by-wire system would be better than simply using trim.
