Two suggestions: paint the sensor array the same color as the rest of the aircraft (this will make it look more like a drone) Maybe use a darker shade of red?

I think you make thin, 3D pieces and nudge them into your plane until they're nearly flat, then paint them. Not many people do it for a reason.
