You should put that in my challenge. link And randomusername is correct. You need to increase the mass. I have a similar setup on my XF14 MRF. Ended up having to go up to like 20 mass on some stuff.
@FarrowTECH What's your aversion on props anyway? Is there some reason your design needs to have a jet instead of a prop? The op plane has both. You could do something like use one for Vtol, or other creative ways to incorperate it. Eitherway I'm not expecting anyone to get full marks on this challenge, the categories are pretty diverce. If you focus in on a approparetly styled craft that uses jets I'll be fair. But if it looks like a F14 or F22 then that is a different style and not to focus of this challenge. It could still win though. It would only loose points on WW2 style category, just so we're clear.
@FarrowTECH thats based on it looking like a ww2 fighter or not. The grading criteria is listed, it needs to look like a plane of that time. If you can pull that off without a prop then fine. My view is that the jets in ww2 didn't look like the prop planes. The point is it needs to look like the prop planes not the jets.
I dont think so, or memes would probably be against the rules. As long as your not using an alt account people can upvote what they like, regardless of encouragement.
@FarrowTECH the point is to have the old school feel to the planes but not restrict the technology. But I dont want modern-day looking planes. So we'll just say I'm open to discussing it.
@FarrowTECH you can use jets. Just also have a prop. Or if you want to use jets only I'll deduct one point. Remember we're talking ww2 style only, so if you're going to use jets dont hold back.
It attaches parts. So if you nudge to pieces of fuselage next to each other then hit shift k with one selected it will attach to all surrounding parts with out having to snap them together. You can attach multiple things to the same point using this method. @Tacocat16
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck if you can link to a possible example of it in real life. Otherwise it wont count the same as regular missiles. So basically no.
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck That's more or less where this is, as a medium fighter. But I thought that 200000lbs was plenty and haven't tested further. I mainly run into the issue of destabilising the cog. This can handle everything on the map plus air threats, why add more ammunition past that? Really like you say thats big plane territory, one Tsar bomb is enough for a medium fighter. Would love to see your plane loaded up :)
@MrDoolittle learned what? One hit death from flack? Or I bet your talking about the missile catching fire. Cool good go know. Still wonder if it's possible to survive a flack hit though. I've survived missile hits before, but mostly due to luck and where it hit me. Right in the counter measure!
@Jacobdaniel Great minds think alike ;)
@Mostly Thanks!
@Dynimerous Thank you.
@WarHawk95 Thanks

@CSP27 I used this technique with my contra rotor turbo prop. I wish they made the engine sound configurable.
I thought it was going to be a tank/ship/glider combination vehicle. Nerf.

I think you mean lays, not lies. This has been gone over and over. If it were possible it would have been done already.
@Jacobdaniel Done. Thanks
@poopatron71 just thought it was funny timing. No worries.
@FarrowTECH Rules have been updated.
Wow that was fast.

Kinda stealing my thunder, though yours is different. We both posted ww2 era challenges with in a day and with the same deadline.
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck Thanks
@FarrowTECH I never said it didnt. Who are you arguing against? Use jets if you want, no one is stopping you.
@Bobjoezonehill
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck
@MrDoolittle
@Mostly
Why set the gear on trim?
@BACconcordepilot I use photo bucket. But good to know, Ill keep it in mind

@Mumpsy You can deactivate the inputs of the gyro but not the gyro its self, if that helps.
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck sure
@MechWARRIOR57 it always worked for me with a name. Thanks for the info

@Tacocat16 what photo host do you use. Should have somthing that says direct
@Tacocat16 it has to be the direct address to the image

Please
@Tacocat16 not sure what you're talking about

Would love to see something like this in my challenge
I'll take an order of rockets please. With a side of bombs.
@Tacocat16 remember shift k to reattach parts to the surrounding parts.
@Tacocat16 thats fine. Oh ok. Just delete everthing but the cockpit and you should be alright.
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck All missiles and pods will be removed during the dog fight test anyway.
@BoeyingOfficial why not
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck if you can link to a possible example of it in real life. Otherwise it wont count the same as regular missiles. So basically no.
Any word on the unity collision fix? Thanks

@FuzzyAircraftProductions all my planes fly. Are you kidding?
@Mostly that makes sense.
Fine
@MrDoolittle lol. How powerful was flack damage irl I wonder.
