@L3FT2R1GHT sorry about that; I’ve been pretty busy with schoolwork nowadays so I didn’t get back to you. I’ll probably return to SP on Friday since I have an important test tomorrow
@N0ble nowadays my fascination lies more in finding the causes of air crashes and seeing how the aviation industry has adopted lessons from them to change for the better
@1714 I just need to do some editing work.
Oh and I really like the detailing (and interior) work. Made a lower-part version with 4 carriages and 4200 fewer parts so it doesn’t lag anymore
german corsair
Be gentle on controls
Note that it may spin and nosedive; just wait for the plane to stabilise itself before you (gently) pull up.
If the plane's going to crash just use the airbrakes to parachute down safely
Synopsis:
In late 1943, the Japanese captured an F4U Corsair (mostly) intact. For reasons unknown they sent it to Germany.
The Corsair, dubbed the "Kampfflugzeugdernächstengeneration", was modified heavily with features such as rocket pods.
Most notable were the airbrakes plastered all over the plane, designed as pseudo-parachutes to make Corsairs in a nosedive float gently down at just 60km/h.
Pilots developed a technique called the "Stallmanöver", known as the first example of PSM. Pilots would activate the airbrakes, hover at ~100km/h, wait for aircraft behind them to overtake and then attack from behind.
17 Corsairs were built, and 35 B-17s in total were shot down by them. According to unconfirmed sources, a certain "Lieutenant Spicyninja" "stole all the airbrakes", stopping German Corsair production.
@WaterFlavouredSpitfires BuY A pC!!!!!!!!!
(I play on Mac, which means I can run some, but not all, mods.)
((Forgot to mention earlier, but Pampanagga and Olyoma-Thunder Bay are mobile-compatible))
@Graingy he was supposed to die in dumb ways, but he overcame his fate.
That was when he realised he was insignificant; a mere joke planted by a rail company to “promote railway safety”. But he was greater; he was more than that; 32 times that in fact.
And that was how 32 was born…
@Pan Linus liked your F-15; the only issues were that the airbrake was placed a bit too far forward and that the HUD had no FT code. Overall rating was 8/10 from what I remember.
@1714 finally made a thumbnail, here you go
The way this captures the anime art style yet stays 3D is impressive

@ReignSUPREME congrats on your highest-rated aircraft!
Bro what are some random strangers on a plane game gonna do? Tell the truth (which is already clear as day)?
@1714 can I make a screenshot with SPMR too? It may take a while though since I have to make the train compatible

@DatTrainGuy19 go look up “Dumb Ways to Die”.
And yes, it was created by a railway company.
