@TheVexedVortex Its a bit excessive for actually playing SP, but its useful for having reference images off to one side while building in windowed mode
@goboygo1 @crazychickenguy The maxRange value uses meters, so if you're using miles, just convert from meters. And in the challenges and dogfight mode, you can lock on further than 10 miles afaik. (In sandbox mode, the max is still 10 miles)
@UmbrellaCorporation Its actually pretty easy. Just make a new version of the plane you want to stay still with the engine input set to none and the elevators disabled (Either by editing the rotator or changing the attachment point). Then just spawn it wherever you need it
@UmbrellaCorporation afaik android doesn't have Maywar and modding support. There are some other things it's missing, but I don't remember them off the top of my head.
@Tookan @Xx24reminder It's an F-16C of the Alabama Air National Guard :v
That image was inspired by this legacy flight. (It's not a D model Mustang in the picture, but you get the point)
I have no idea if the abbreviations on the targeting pod footage are correct. And a quick disclaimer so there's no confusion: the text is edited in, not part of the game.
@ThatKindaWeeb Not bad at all for your first plane! It flies super stable and is pretty arcade-like. (Of course, that comes down to personal preference.)
The overall dimensions are actually pretty close to the real thing. (Just a tad bit larger.)
The shaping could use some work, but that comes with practice, so keep building!
P.S.
I think the missile pod you have most closely resembles the LAU-10 Zuni rocket pod, which the T-2 can carry in War Thunder so ¯_(ツ)_/¯
@UmbrellaCorporation I've been trying to make the performance more realistic and less arcade-like (higher AOA, higher landing/stall speeds, realistic thrust/weight, slower turning at extremely high speed,etc. ), so my planes are going to be less stable (If anything, they were too stable before).
As for banking left on takeoff, I haven't had any problems with that so I'm not sure how that's happening? :/
@ThatKindaWeeb thrust vectoring and relatively low thrust tends to do that :P. I was also confused when wikipedia said the engines have only 49 kN of thrust but im guessing thats because its a prototype (so theres bound to be some issues). If i convert this to an F-3, im bumping that up and making the energy retention better
@ThatKindaWeeb Yeah, working on it :P I'm on break now so I actually have more time for simpleplanes (that's why I was inactive for a long while)
Plus, I need more paneling practice :v
That would be cool. The approach from the right might be kind of awkward though.

@AWESOMENESS360 I can't really argue with Wikipedia's dimensions :v
@rexzion moo
@BaconEggs ngl your AIM-54 video motivated me to do it :P
@ThatKindaWeeb ¯_(ツ)_/¯ idk
Do you plan on giving it top attack capability?
@rexzion ngl being able to do this in SP would be kinda cool
So close yet so far...
Nice Phoenix!
@Pnicks15 Go ahead
@winterro leedsichthys problematicus with lasers pls
@UmbrellaCorporation If you put it on your steam wishlist, you'll get an email (And mobile notification if you have the steam app) if it goes on sale.
@UmbrellaCorporation Yes
@RedFox65 Maybe a modern 2 seat attacker in the style of the SK60B?
@AeroAeroTheMen very funny.
Deja BRRRRT
@ThatKindaWeeb Maybe... If you post it as unlisted I can check it out later
@ThatKindaWeeb Did you make sure your center of mass is in front of your center of lift?
@SussyBreadBoi Thanks!
Nice!
What's the name of the song? I heard it another video, but I couldn't find it there.

@UnspankleSP Pfft I wish I had the Phantom in WT.
@BeastHunter I have terrible memory, sorry about that :v
@ssu24 I wasn't happy with it, but I might renovate it and post it if I get the time
@AWESOMENESS360 The more, the merrier :)
This is getting out of hand
Now there are phour phantoms :|
Oh, and for those curious, this is currently sitting at 207 parts (30 parts of which are weapons and their mounts).
@TheKugelblitz Here you go, it's just a generic tow tractor. It's not too functional, but it's good for screenshots.
A lot of WWI designs have squareish fuselages :v
I can 100% see this in Clarkson's dining room

@ssenmodnar You sure?
@MrTacito34 I actually started working on a MiG-21bis that I didn't finish a while back
@MrGreen Yikes, I just read about it
@UmbrellaCorporation Oh, that's edited in. The only way I can think of to get that filter in-game is reshade, but that's PC only.
@UmbrellaCorporation As long as you guys can use diff camera views it should work
@MiiWini https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Litening uh
Hey look its my E-3G :/
@AWESOMENESS360 I was inspired by it :v
@RedWasNotTheImposter Thanks!
Zoom Mod by MOPCKOEDNISHE
Clouds Mod by MisterT and Jester
The FT used in the LITENING targeting pod comes from nafeij's Auto-Stabilized Target-Tracking Camera

@EngineerOtaku I know, but I was quoting a different episode :P
@EngineerOtaku Thanks!
"One aircraft was destined to become the quintissential dogfighter of its era."
Wrong episode but you get the point
@UmbrellaCorporation not the next post, but I'll consider it for the future

I use a typewriter (keyboard).
