@TheCommentaryGuy That is just angle of attack. Best way to get it is to make your wings liftScale=1 or less and have your COL and COM relatively close together. Hidden wings in the leading edge extensions also help a lot.
This plane is stable with AOA because the slats are aerodynamically functional and have liftScale=-1 and the FBW also helps.
The missile finds out what direction it is currently going
From that it finds out what it needs to do to go the direction it wants to go
If it still isn't going exactly in the direction it wants to go, it will find out what it needs to do to correct its course
I think
@Dathcha @Legomaster0418 I'm on the Steam version and although the symbol [ is moved to the bottom instead of the top like Sandbox, it's alphabetical otherwise. That is even weirder if this isn't the same on every version of the game by now :/
Either way, we still desperately need a search bar.
@zou27877
Suspension strength: How stiff the springs are
Suspension damper: How much the springs move vertically
Energy retention is tied to an airbrake that increases the drag when you turn, pull AOA, or climb
Here's one: You can open the variables tab even after already opening it by clicking the button again.
6 and 7 are false though, as HuskyDynamics01 said
Get the Steam version.
Steam has an overlay, where you can use a Steam browser to open SimplePlanes.com. If you have SimplePlanes.com in a Steam browser with the game open, when you download a plane, it automatically appears in game.
@gkgur Yeah, it's all good :)
When I started doing alternate loadouts, I started doing a lot of research on hardpoint compatibility and launch rails, etc.
The G4 stands for Generation 4, which refers to the build quality.
Gen 0: Prior to DC-10-30 Air Tanker
Gen 1: Up to F-100D
Gen 2: Up to A-10C V2.0
Gen 3: Up to F-22A V2.0
Gen 4: This onwards
@Spitfirelad05 sure
Gonna need a new change of underwear after 2:37

@Bo1233 Thanks for the correction lol

Reverse psychology

@SemiCollin That is actually intentional
If you look in the variables, you'll see the FT i used for that effect as well
@UmbrellaCorporation Sure, I can try
KaH-106D Black Shapache
Oh god it's happening
@Ded I've been looking up specific racks and launchers (MER-7, TER-7, TER-9A, LAU-128, LAU-7, etc.), we're both cringe nerds :v
@ElevatorEnthusiast747 double check your connections
Resizing fuselages shifts the whole plane and non-connected parts won't move with it
@Ded Ah, got me on the designation there.
Glad you like the Phantom so far!
@FirstFish83828 Yes and I'm kinda surprised

Please no T's in the comments. This is a tutorial and I don't want comments related to the tutorial to get pushed down by unnecessary stuff.
So this is what war is good for?

What missile XML values do you use for explosionScalar and proximityDetonationRangeMax/Min?
Barriers: it would be a shame if something happened to it
Santa's B-2 Spirit
He uses it to avoid radar detection while he delivers presents :)
Wait you're telling me he was a GOAT all this time???
Wallnut has had it with these damn zombies on your damn lawn
@WinsWings Holy crap. Imagine trying to fly this thing at the low speeds necessary for carrier ops
It looks so sad
Looks cool!
I feel like the dust cover/ejection port should be taller though
Whippy boi
cool and good
