Not too much to say here, but it's basically almost done. Just working on final checks and whatnot.
Missile With a Man in it / F-104C Starfighter V2.0
After watching J.P. Ferré's "THE RIGHT STUFF," I decided to remake my F-104C Starfighter.
I'm really happy with how the intake and cannon port turned out.
The airbrakes and landing gear bay doors are in place and functional (and animated correctly), but I haven't started the landing gear quite yet. There is also a door behind the ventral fin for the drag chute.
Kind of hard to tell, but the engine is angled upwards 2 degrees, which is apparently accurate to the real F-104.
Although it does have a livery, this aircraft is still in a really early state and I haven't started working on the flight model. At some point I'd like to convert this into an NF-104A, a NASA astronaut trainer with a rocket engine.
It currently sits at 176 parts.

@Ded Yeah either the C or G. I definitely haven't seen a two seater yet. It seems like the USAF was testing the F-104C with nukes, so I'll probably add it.

I can't say I've seen a NASA NF-104 with a rocket booster in SP. I'm looking forward to seeing that if/when it comes out.
