@ThatKindaWeeb Hmm... I'd say take a break or look for some inspiration on YouTube, there's a lot of great aviation content. cough Mustard cough
Either way, forcing yourself to upload when you don't want to definitely won't be enjoyable.
Yeah, college takes up a lot of time. Not being able to upload because you're dealing with school hardly classifies as lazy.
Don't feel obligated to upload on SP if you have more important things to do. Life comes first. That's why the progress on the Su-30 has been quite slow. (Plus the frequent crashes since the last update.)
When things get busy, I either take a break or work on simpler projects, which is actually why I made the Sopwith Camel and the F-104C. And making artwork of SP stuff is also a pretty good alternative.
@Korzalerke Nope, but it makes sense aerodynamically. Since the vertical stabilizers are at an angle, their control surfaces act like elevators when they move inward.
This is actually how the YF-23's elevators work.
If anything it makes you turn slightly faster :P
@AvalonIndustries I actually do have a spreadsheet for myself, but I've been debating on releasing it since I don't want to feel obligated to have to make every plane on the list or get bogged down by people asking when they're going to made.
I know this really isn't the place for it, but yeah, it ticks me off to no end.
Videos with false information should have a lot of dislikes and people should be able to see that so it helps them realize that something is off.
Poorly made/unhelpful tutorials should have a lot of visible dislikes so people can realize that it's bad before wasting their time.
I really don't understand how this is supposed to be an overall good change.
I'm not a dev, but I think the main reason why SimplePlanes is so much harder to run is because the physics are more in-depth. Not only that, but it has to calculate physics for every single part of a craft. That's why physics-based maker games like Besiege (which also runs on Unity iirc) are generally harder to run than they look.
@ZeroWithSlashedO I don't think that's possible given the hardpoint compatibility. (This is for a Su-30MK2, but I imagine it should be the sameish.)
Something similiar might be 4x R-73 and 4x FAB-500 on the wings and 2x Kh-31A and 2x R-77 in the middle
@MrTacito34 I might. It would be pretty easy to modify the F-4C, but I also want to redo the tail section with the new fuselage cutting techniques we have.
Salutations, liberal, or person who is a supporter of "policies that are socially progressive and promote social welfare" or of "a political and social philosophy that promotes individual rights, civil liberties, democracy, and free enterprise," according to Oxford Languages.
I assertively reccomend that you suspend the manipulation of your lungs and larynx, commonly referred to as the voice box, in such a fashion to project your liberal ideals through spoken word.
As you can see, I am an unusually large Macrocheira kaempferi, otherwise known as a Japanese spider crab, that is capable of producing deadly lasers. If you do not follow my aforementioned reccomendation, it will surely be your undoing.

visible confusion
It's like an ugly sweater got pasted onto a plane
Nice

One crossed wire, one wayward pinch of potassium chlorate, one errant twitch, and KA-BLOOIE!
+5If we could choose the angle to cut our fuselages, we could do non-paneled stealth fuselages
+3I can't be the only one who thinks this is ever so slightly suspicious, right?
+19Do it like this:

Pedro mentioned that this poster was a render on the Simple Merch post, so I don't think was in SP
+4Ground?
Looks like a Hampden

@ThatKindaWeeb Technically, it would be pretty easy to do the conversion :v
Yo, we gotta celebrate SP's Steam birthday

@Alvin784 It's not out yet? If you're curious, the plane itself is mostly done, but I need to make the weapons.

@rexzion thx
Reminds me of Breath of the Wild
+1Moving the COM forward increases stability, but also decreases turn rate
@MintLynx @Sm10684 I remember Andrew mentioning it on another post; iirc it might also take into account the funkiness of the FT

@xiaofootball Yeah, on the Indy Air Race, it just straight up crashes.
Kinda removes the challenge.
@EngineerOtaku Yeah, I remember reading about that. Since a production version of this is already a bit far-fetched I decided to go all the way. :v
