Its been the same AI since the beginning of the game, and its boring to play against. It doesnt know how to use its rudder, or cannons if fighting other aircraft. It also has problems with just normal flying, flying upside down in a turn that can become a flat spin. Id like to see a better AI that acts like a opponent rather than a 'follow me, shoot when right behind' script thats waay too simple. I know you can do better than this.

Kinda removes the challenge.
Making the AI fly the race course a little better would also be nice
To be honest. AI for the beast carrier group are almost getting more accurate. I was flying my plane when I started getting hit a lot. They did shoot me down. Now ai for planes is just a mess. They will occasionally see you as the runway only to realize you fly. They don't use cannons, can't even land properly (some planes can), and when fighting you all they do is go down and make a loop when it's better to go up.

It was changed back in 1.7 I believe, but yea, it needs some updates
