@Nerfaddict Well I can't say for certain, but the specific conditions are 25+ AOA sustained for at least 30 seconds, below 540 km/h, with full burner. You might have to keep the burner on for a bit before it stalls. The most predictable way is to use debugExpression, but it is hard to stall the engines on purpose.
@MrShenanigansSP Thanks, I did use Baconeggs' blueprints :v
@UmbrellaCorporation The engines have the correct amount of thrust. These are TF30's, the F-14A was called the worst engine to airframe mismatch for a reason. Although, if taking off is hard, you're probably pulling up too early
@offiry Thanks a bunch. I also play MP, so I try to make these work with that. That's why I try to go for low-part and have AG8 disable weapons so you don't lock onto other peeps.
Here are some pictures I took of the F-14 in person, just for fun. F-14D: Completely hollow, no engines, no instruments, nothing. F-14A: This one actually still has the engines at least, but they are TF30's.
@Grob0s0VBRa @MrGreen Thanks for the help. I couldn't get them to work though, although I'm probably just being dumb.
@MrShenanigansSP It's actually pretty hard to put this one into a flat spin even with assymmetric thrust
.
I tried using a new set of FT that turns off the engines permanently after 30 seconds of sustained 25+ degrees AOA at less than 540 km/h GS with full burner. I think it's a pretty good balance since in order to induce the stall, you really have to try to do it on purpose
@G2 That one is the previous F-14D. I might, but the part count will likely be over 500
@TheWeebREBORN I don't see why it wouldn't :v
@GAMINGOTAKU66 Canard tomcat is an interesting concept... It makes a lot more stable. Although my F-14D's flight model isn't the best
@Ded Yeah the F-14 is a hard one to do low part... I might just embrace it and do a livery for it. As long as its under 500 I'm happy though
.
btw y ded big sad you were very cool
@OkaNieba Pretty happy with the F-16, the next Viper is probably going to be a CFT model or some other variant
YF-23 probably no at the moment
Bomber idk
@Ocean70 Eurodelta of some variety maybe
@SyntheticL I might be able to upgrade the F-5C into an F-5E... although I also kinda want to remake it from scratch
@TheWeebREBORN That is true, it gains energy really quickly, which is good. I guess it's not always about low-speed nose authority if you can stay fast.
@NEOCORP Because when you pull full aft stick in a fighter jet, they tend to not like it very much, especially this one.
+1@TRD6932 it cannot, iirc that was for experimental purposes
@OrionIndustries second one is the Pacific Coast Air Museum, they're great too

Back from the dead I see?
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

@Phox Of course it ca- EJECT EJECT EJECT EJECT
@TheCommentaryGuy woops, its probably because you asked T on 2 teasers.
Alt.Config.3 is the GBU one
@V I already used the permanent engine stall solution, but I'll try that
Here are some pictures I took of the F-14 in person, just for fun.

F-14A: This one actually still has the engines at least, but they are TF30's.
Here's my submission.
It's not a successor yet, but I asked a mod to change it.

Here's the current code. The engine input is multiplied by this:
1-(GS > 25 & smooth(RollAngle,.01)<0 ? clamp01(abs(round(smooth(AngleOfAttack/50,.01)))) : 0)
The roll angle bit is arbitrary, but it makes only one engine stall at a time.
@Inuyasha8215 An-22?
Just like the old phantom phaceoff from a while back

+1Sauce's F-16C
+1Fuselage control surfaces in general do not work, including airbrakes. A hidden airbrake will help tho

+5@SoupTime9957 They are automatic, starting to sweep at around 720 kmh and fully back by about mach 1
Do you ever just look at real life objects and think about how it would be made using SP fuselages
