@Tang0five I didnt intentionally relate it to Geology, i named it after a band i have been listening to =) Most of the time a name is the hardest part of the build.
@ThomasRoderick Thanks =) It has a certain charm about it when you end up adding blisters and lumps to something that was once smooth and sleek. I contemplated adding turrets and the like as well but its not really big enough to warrant them. Glad you like it though, thanks again for the upvotes and comments.
@BaconAircraft any chance you can add this as a successor to this challenge please: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/GJ29Wg/Pusher-Aircraft-Challenge?showAllComments=true#comment-4134775 Thanks in advance
@ThomasRoderick well I modelled a martin baker seat but didn't add the functionality as I ran out of patience with the build... but yes it should bang out up and out of the way of the intake/fin.
@OUSSAMAX ive made a few https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/90UVE2/24th-January-2021-RJ-Halocene-B1-9-8 https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/1sP8Zj/RJ-Blackburn-Firethorn-7-6 https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/xXb7d3/Mitsubishi-RJ-36-Trudy-1-9 etc etc. just have a flick through my builds list you will find loads.
@teddyone02 yeah thats what it is based from, but i get a bit bored with everything having to be American or Russian so i do it as if the UK still has a large active aircraft industry =)
Sorry to see you go but why delete the account, that removes everyones ability to access your builds or competition posts etc, surely it's better to just abandon the account as is? Unless ghis is a lame April the 1st thing...
@Dovahk Thanks, tanks are not really my thing. I only dabble in them from time to time. I will bear it in mind though if i do decide i want another tank build.
@FeatherWing I save a build with the date I start building, I never know the name of the aircraft till the end as builds have a habit of varying during construction. It also helps find unfinished builds.
@spectre118 If you are on about the wingtip dihedral, see the image i have added to the description above. The angle is almost exactly what was on the phantom wing even though i have made a completely different wing.
@ThomasRoderick thanks, its definately got a gun, just mounted to the side of the left hand intake (the nose droop interfered with it being under mounted)
@SyntheticL I discussed this bug with Jamesplanesii a long time ago, i think i pressed Z at somepoint during the build (not sure if it was in a certain menu or something) and it turns all parts invisible on the 3 view - apart from lettering it would appear, with no way to rectify that im aware of. I provide enough images so not a biggy really.
@RAF1 was there? I just made the proposal up completely unawares of that fact. I couldn't get my head around getting two engines and thus more power but still equating to less weight.
@MarxismLeninismMaoism yeah I've already answered that in the posts below. This wasn't originally going to gave a cockpit hence I used the ag for missile activation and forgot to change that when I built the cockpit. It takes 60 seconds to select the actual missiles and change it do they don't have an activation group.
@PxVector my bad, i wasnt going to have a cockpit originally hence i had the missiles on the group, i forgot to alter that after building the cockpit...
@LieutenantSOT Enjoy =) I just flew a <100ft sortie to destroy the USS beast convoy, 80% throttle and buzzing around at that altitude just feels so nice lol.
@Tang0five I didnt intentionally relate it to Geology, i named it after a band i have been listening to =) Most of the time a name is the hardest part of the build.
@Liquidfox01 thanks, I was away from here myself for a while.

+1@WinsWings I forgot that i hadnt built this as a successor to your challenge and posted it.... oops. I have asked Bacon to add it to your challenge
+1@BaconAircraft any chance you can add this as a successor to this challenge please: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/GJ29Wg/Pusher-Aircraft-Challenge?showAllComments=true#comment-4134775 Thanks in advance
@WinsWings I've got a build lined up for this, just sorting the screenshots and article, will probably post it tomorrow if i get a chance =)
+1@ThomasRoderick well I modelled a martin baker seat but didn't add the functionality as I ran out of patience with the build... but yes it should bang out up and out of the way of the intake/fin.
+1@teddyone02 Thanks =) Also thanks for checking out some of my older work, its a shame that a month after release they get forgotten about.
@V Im lost on anything like this, i manage to change the input of parts but creating formulas for anything are beyond me, thanks though.
+1@Droidy247 yeah the hatch on the top would blow off before bang seat operated (same as the sea vixen in this regard)
@V ooo, I will give that a go thank you so much.
+1@Skykid028 cool, thanks for the tag.
I like that, weird and wonderful is my style =)
+1@OUSSAMAX ive made a few https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/90UVE2/24th-January-2021-RJ-Halocene-B1-9-8 https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/1sP8Zj/RJ-Blackburn-Firethorn-7-6 https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/xXb7d3/Mitsubishi-RJ-36-Trudy-1-9 etc etc. just have a flick through my builds list you will find loads.
@Dimkal thanks, glad to see you are still active as well, hopefully I can keep turning out the builds from time to time.
+1@Type2volkswagen yeah I'm still here, just tinkering from time to time now when I'm inspired to do so :)
@SteadfastContracting your not the only one, on bandit Airport I was always losing the middle props... glad you liked it though.
@FeatherWing was it ever decided.
+1@LegnaK did this happen?
+1@JackTheAvGeek help yourself, thanks for asking.
@teddyone02 yeah thats what it is based from, but i get a bit bored with everything having to be American or Russian so i do it as if the UK still has a large active aircraft industry =)
@asteroidbook345 the damper code worked (with 10000 as the figure), thanks, I can now progress that build =)
@asteroidbook345 I shall try that, thanks. I had already increased mass of attached parts etc do hopefully the damper code works
@JessaLeih thanks, I liked it as well, something a bit different.
+1@LegnaK Did I miss the results for this or something?
+1@Walvis just wondering when this challenge will be decided (or if ive missed the results?)
+1@RAF1 just curious but did you get around to doing some drawings of my builds :)
+1Sorry to see you go but why delete the account, that removes everyones ability to access your builds or competition posts etc, surely it's better to just abandon the account as is? Unless ghis is a lame April the 1st thing...
+5@Dovahk Thanks, tanks are not really my thing. I only dabble in them from time to time. I will bear it in mind though if i do decide i want another tank build.
@esuohdleifkcin no, I never did finish this one. I did post it for people to play with along with a load of other unfinished builds here
+1@FeatherWing I save a build with the date I start building, I never know the name of the aircraft till the end as builds have a habit of varying during construction. It also helps find unfinished builds.
+1@spectre118 no worries, id rather know if id dropped a clanger anyway =)
@Liquidfox01 yeah the concept and artwork look good, be interesting to see how it develops.
+1@AVFLYER ive used the all moving tail for roll, pitch and trim. It rolls perfectly well as is though, why do you want it to roll faster?
+1@spectre118 If you are on about the wingtip dihedral, see the image i have added to the description above. The angle is almost exactly what was on the phantom wing even though i have made a completely different wing.
@spectre118 why do you think that? The wing is basically from a mirage.
@ThomasRoderick thanks, its definately got a gun, just mounted to the side of the left hand intake (the nose droop interfered with it being under mounted)
+1@GriseoCattus sorry, just "gee, thanks" is used in the negative where im from.
@GriseoCattus Was that sarcastic? What did you want?
Like this
@RAF1 I'm easy, I have so many builds I think a surprise would be nice :)
+1@Jackrei if something is going boom when parts interact then turning collisions off is the first thing to try.
+1You turned collisions off on the parts that interact?
+1@ManManTheWeaponsMan nope, no lanc involved.
+1@SyntheticL I discussed this bug with Jamesplanesii a long time ago, i think i pressed Z at somepoint during the build (not sure if it was in a certain menu or something) and it turns all parts invisible on the 3 view - apart from lettering it would appear, with no way to rectify that im aware of. +2fixed missile variant here
@MarxismLeninismMaoism yeah I've already answered that in the posts below.
